Hereford used to have a line going to Grange Court, where it interchanges with the Gloucester-Newport line.

The Birkenhead Ralway was a joint railway owned by the GWR and LNWR until nationalisation
Princes Risborough because it is a station on the erstwhile joint railway (GWR/GCR) Bicester to Ruislip

Until May 2017, a Class 121 "Bubble Car" DMU operated the Princes Risborough-Aylesbury line with shuttle services. Class 121s have also previously worked with Silverlink Trains between Bletchley and Bedford until 2001, making these one of the last first-generation DMUs to operate on public railways in the 21st century.

Salford Central is managed and served by Northern. This is also the case at Rochdale, which is a destination or calling point for numerous services through Salford Central.
