London Waterloo is also an example of a station where most trains terminate at a buffer, but also has through platforms.

The station building at Cottingham was designed by George Townsend Andrews (1804 – 1855). He was also responsible for the design of the original station buildings at Sherburn-in-Elmet, which now no longer exist.
