Thame station was situated on the Wycombe Railway.

It opened in 1862 and was closed to passengers in 1963 (freight services carrying on for some years before total closure was effected).

We appear to need an OPEN station association to Sutton Coldfield.

I think he means Haddenham and Thame Parkway, though that did open in 1967.

No, I did mean Thame .... many apologies!

So, moving on from Perry Barr .... another station opened on 4th July 1837 by the Grand Junction Railway was Crewe.

Brighton was also previously served by the now defunct Virgin CrossCountry

Shadwell is also an interchange between the DLR and a National Rail TOC
(despite LO frequently thinking they are not a NR TOC and no "double arrow" signage being used at Shadwell station)

Liverpool Lime Street also has no Merseyrail services at the moment due to the Wirral Line closures.

Does this section of the quiz rules invalidate the last posting made?
The station I was referring to is the one with Station Code HXX, served by 25kV EMUs operated by Heathrow Express & Heathrow Connect. Not the LU station.
It is possible to plan journeys & buy tickets to/from HXX from around the country using National Rail Enquiries website. I'd still consider the station part of the "BR" network, despite its ownership and some ticketing peculiarities
