Diesel Traction is also the Sole Preserve of trains through Birmingham Moor Street but unlike the previous two stations never received electric wires.

Coombe Junction Halt is another of the extremely few railway stations on the main national railway network still to carry the suffix "Halt" and also has the lowest DfT category rating of F2.
That was a quick return... We were only there for posting 8704.

Cromer is another station where services need to reverse to take another route.

Ah...but you will note that it was used for a totally different reason for connectional purposes the second time. I know that IBM Halt also carries the "Halt" suffix, but did not want to use that particular example.

Wrexham Central was also opened in 1887.

Until 1967 a service operated between Margate and Birkenhead Woodside (now closed). Various portions were attached/detached en-route, including one at Redhill (Surrey).

Rotherham Central, similarly, has an avoiding line bypassing it which is commonly used by services which don't stop there.
