Unfortunately, the rules on this quiz that are shown on the very first posting when amendment clarifications have been made in the past, have never been updated. Requests to do this with a list of agreed amendments were submitted firstly to the forum member concerned as he is the only forum member who can amend his own posting, but nothing was ever done. The year 2011 saw certain regular forum members cease participation upon this quiz as the rules were not clarified.

In 2012, when the new Forum Quizmasters assumed their new role, this matter was put in a PM to them in the hope that the rules would show the agreed amendments....we are still waiting for this to happen, hence a new forum member has now fallen foul of the rules that long-standing forum members are aware of, through absolutely no fault of his own.

I will once again reiterate the agreed (but still to be published) rule that only National Rail stations are to be used on this quiz. Stations on the London Underground, Tyne and Wear Metro, etc, etc, are NOT valid postings.
