Long Eaton was originally called Sawley Junction, in the way that Barmouth Junction is now renamed Morfa Mawddach.

was at the other end of the special shuttle service for holiday-makers called "The Welsh Dragon" - which AFAIK, was the only named train to be latterly run by a dmu.

Upminster is the destination of a very short shuttle service situated within the London travelcard zones.

Possilpark & Parkhouse has class 67 hauled passenger trains which pass through without serving the station.

Prestwick Town also has 2 platforms, begins with a letter P and is managed by First ScotRail.
