Are we allowed the use of closed railway stations on this quiz.....or are you a "thwarted" contestant from the "Closed Stations Journey Quiz"........If we are to continue on this line, there was once a small station called Folkestone Warren Halt which was opened in 1886 by the South Eastern Railway, but closed later that year after Lord Radnor complained that users of this station were trespassing on his land. One of the problems in that area was that landslips were not uncommon. However, in 1908, the South Eastern and Chatham Railway again reopened a halt in the area which was always subject to landslips, one of which buried the station in 1915 and caused the cancellation of railway usage in that area for quite some time. The halt finally closed to passengers in 1939.
King George V (DLR, if that's allowed) was also named after a reigning monarch
