Creswell was originally Elmton and Creswell before re-opening.

Brighouse was originally Brighouse for Bradford upon first being opened, then Brighouse for Rastrick before being closed in 1970, and upon re-opening in 2000 is now just Brighouse.

Location
Bath (or Southend)
Canada Water also takes its name from a local water feature, and as with Loch Awe the name Canada Water is also used to refer to other local features.

St. James (Tyne & Wear Metro), another station which serves a football stadium but does not have the name of the stadium in the name (Newcastle's ground is now called The Sports Direct Arena) ;)
