Pulborough is towards the southern end of the Arun Valley Line, which is also known as the Mid Sussex Line; Faygate is towards the northern end of the same line.
All the trains serving Church & Oswaldtwistle on the East Lancashire line stop without being requested to do so; trains passing through Burnley Barracks do, however, have to be requested to stop.
The Robin Hood Line runs from Nottingham to Worksop, Nottinghamshire. The stations between Shirebrook and Whitwell (inclusive and including Langwith-Whaley Thorns) are in the county of Derbyshire. Bulwell, however, is in Nottinghamshire.
