The furthest north on can travel on a train from Chalfont & Latimer is Aylesbury Vale Parkway.

The station house at Eastleigh was designed by Sir William Tite CB FRS (1798 – 1873) and has been Grade II listed since 1983. Another station building designed by him and currently listed in the same category is Windsor & Eton Riverside.

The current Hellifield was also built mainly as an exchange station between lines but has since lost that status when the Blackburn line lost its passenger service

Heading towards Barrow Silverdale is the last station within the City of Lancaster. The first station in Westmorland & Furness is Arnside.

What about the Saturdays only Rochdale-Ribblehead trains.
As a trivia officianado that is a sevice I regrettably overlooked :lol:

Kents Bank station contains a library, another station that contains a repository of books is Alnwick but as that is sadly closed and now you must now catch the train from Alnmouth (for Alnwick)

Morpeth was designed by Benjamin Green, who also was the architect behind many fine North East buildings including the Grade II listed original station building at Acklington
