Invershin is another request stop which operates using the "Press & Ride" system, as opposed to the more traditional "stick out your hand" method.

Ravenglass is also a DfT category F2 Station in what was the Borough of Copeland prior to Cumbria being split into two unitary councils.

At one time there used to be a daily train between Aberystwyth and London but the furthest one can travel on a through train now is Birmingham International.

Saltash is another station which is close to a substantial railway bridge engineered by Isambard Kingdom Brunel.


Edited to clarify that I am aware that the Maidenhead Bow Arch bridge is over a mile from Maidenhead station, but said bridge is still nearby, if not adjacent.

Garswood station’s three-letter code is GSW. The same letters, but in a different order, is the code for Swaythling (SWG)
