I think you are confusing Aylesham in Kent - to which @CPG is referring - with Aylsham in Norfolk. Therefore Aylesham should still stand.OBSERVATION
The station to which you refer to above was originally opened by the Great Eastern Railway as Aylsham on 1st January 1880. On 27th September 1948, it was renamed Aylsham South.
It was closed to passengers on 15th September 1952 and to freight on 1st March 1977.
