Both Westhoughton and Daisy Hill stations have car parks, although neither has a taxi rank.

Despite being on the same line and having many trains per day which pass through both Westhoughton and Ince, on weekdays there is only one service per day in each direction which stops at both Westhoughton and Ince.

Another station with only one direct train per day to/from Ince is Manchester Oxford Road.
