Warminster would also have been used by the special trains that would have evacuated civil servants to the Central Government War Headquarters in the event of nuclear war.

Fareham is also situated near a tunnel and was served by diesel-electric 'thumper' multiple units before it was electrified in the 1980s

Virginia Water is another Southern Region station that was rebuilt in 1973 using the CLASP (Consortium of Local Authorities Special Programme) prefabricated construction system.

What is a manual banner repeater?

Ascot is a station before a junction heading west on the SWT Reading Line.

A banner repeater that is operated manually
Non-facetious answer - a banner repeater that is an actual bit of metal behind some glass operated by relays; rather than the more common LEDs. Ascot had one until fairly recently as well

Sandal & Agbrigg is also served by a class of rolling stock formerly operated DOO but now exclusively operated with guards in passenger service

The town of Petersfield, Hampshire, also has a rugby club which plays in the Hampshire Division 1 Competition.

I think that you may have intended to show this posting on the Settlement Association Quiz. This is the Station Association quiz.

Correct, my apologies.

Let's try this one: South Elmsall station was also built for the West Riding and Grimsby Railway.
