That particular matter was raised twice since the quiz was set up and a request made both times to the quiz setter to amend the rules section that, as with many other quizzes on the quizzes and games forum, is as shown in the body of the very first posting of this quiz.

However the Metropolitan Line which serves it extends it tentacles from the City of London and eventually runs out of steam in the Buckinghamshire countryside where it has an interchange with the National Rail network at Amersham.

Being at my most pedantic, Deansgate railway station is situated on a different site to the Deansgate-Castlefield Metrolink system stop and has a major road separating both of the sites. I will accept the fact that a bridge connection over that road was made, in the same way that a bridge connection was made between the Arndale Centre and the Marks and Spencer department store.
