St Albans Abbey also bears the name of a saint whilst being its settlement's second station.

Scenes from the feature film "One Day" (2011) were filmed at the station. Another station to provide a filming location is Carnforth, which was used for part of the filming of "Brief Encounter" in February 1945. The station clock became a powerful icon through repeated use in the film.

From Coruscant-upon-Pearl to North Acton....
At Sutton one may also* expect to see a significant (indeed, larger) quantity of passengers of Far Eastern origin, this being from the HK diaspora established for a few years now in said borough.

*Does Moreton-in-Marsh still see so many of them as when the relevant signage was installed?

The furthest one can travel on a through train from Hackbridge is to Bedford although the majority of Thameslink services from there only go as far as St. Albans.
