St. Erth is also served by the Night Riviera as well as being the terminus of a branch line, similar to Par.

Norwich, you can get direct trains to Cardiff Central from Ystrad Mynach which is served by a First Group TOC, [stn]NRW[/stn] is also a station where you can get a direct service to a station served by a First Group TOC (TPE at Sheffield for example).

St Budeax Ferry Road is also near a bridge where a main line is single track.

Heath High Level is one of two stations situated side by side, very close to where the routes to/from those stations converge

Worcester Shrub Hill is operated by LM and has a locomotive depot next to it, as does Tyseley.

London Paddington was also on the GWR's route from London to Birmingham, as was Worcester Shrub Hill ;)

Was Worcester? I thiught the GWR route was

London–Reading–Oxford–Banbury–Leamington–Birmingham

later

London–Wycombe–Oxford–Banbury–Leamington–Birmingham

even later

London–Wycombe–Bicester–Banbury–Leamington–Birmingham (as today)

There were services operated by NSE in the 1990s:

Paddington-Reading-Oxford-Worcester-Stourbridge-(Birmingham) Snow Hill

That may well have been the case but that doesn't make it the GWR route to Birmingham.

I know that fully well but I think they're referring to it as GWR as they were the company who operated it (ie not SR/LMS etc).

Here is a photo I've found of a Class 165 at Droitwich Spa with a service to London.

They said Worcester was on the GWR's London to Birmingham route, it was not.
