Statesman Rail

Does anyone have any experience of Statesman Rail. Are they reliable? Do their tours usually run and not get constantly cancelled like some others?

Generally very reliable. The Fellsman is regularly sold out well in advance so book early, especially for high summer dates.

Not just the Fellsman that sells out, many of the other trips do well in advance, especially in the dining sections.

Only used them once on a trip from Hull to Aberystwyth last year (a joint trip with Railtourer), but I can recommend them. Friendly staff, frequently moving through the carriage if you need them, & you get a well documented booklet about the day's trip, plus other relevant leaflets. As has been said, their trips regularly sell out, so that's usually the telltale signs of a good company.
