With sufficient supply there should be no problem from a technical (as opposed to financial) standpoint in wiring up every last Cornish Branch; all the way to the far north and Kyle of Localsh and the entire Southern. Really, the only things that would remain unwired would be most freight yards- they'd still need diesel shunters.just out of itnerest if we could start again, how much of transport in this country could we make on electrified railways? (presuming someone allows nuclear to power railways therefore makings compltetly green....)
