Is it just me or is this series total rubbish compared to the other Stargate series? Slack plots, boring characters, not a lot going on etc.

p.s. I know this is hardly the world's most earth-shaking event, but I'm a bit depressed that Stargate Atlantis has finsihed and there seems to be nothing decent to replace it, and I know rail fans love sci-fi (well, mostly).

I haven't seen it, don't have Sky 1. I really hope its not as bad as you say, I'm a huge fan of Stargate SG1 and Atlantis and it'd be a shame if it's headed off in that direction :(

It is a bit slow and clumsy IMO.

It is not all that bad though, hopefully going to pick up the pace a bit now. I still have Tuesdays episode to watch after the small break.
