Stansted 317's

With the 379's now in service and the 317/8's now cascaded, will we see the luggage racks removed and replaced with seats, this would restore 60 seats in an 8 car set. Like wise will the 1st class seating be reduced on the 317/7's?

I doubt in the short term (at least the rest of the current franchise, and possibly for the short franchise to follow) they'll be modified at all. Personally, I'd like to see the entire fleet of West Anglia 317s given a single interior.

I'd like to work for a company that has all it's trains in the same livery rather than the mixed bag we've had for the last however many years!

That's almost certainly not going to happen until the next-but-one franchise; the interim franchisee will have logo stickers at most
