Not bad pics at all! The Wheels on the President, have they been done up or is that just lighting.
They'll have been painted. It's usual practice with companies that have wheels painted as part of their liveries, Stagecoach included.

As a side point, with most of the big companies, it's usual for the wheels also get repainted every year, after a bus has it's MOT test, regardless of whether the rest of the bus is ready for repaint.

Thank you for the insight! This President is the first Wheel painted Vehicle after a renewed Livery I've ever seen.

I just found a trident in the new livery with black window surrounds... it doesn’t look too bad, but I prefer coloured. Also fun fact this bus used to be here.

I've seen a lot of pics of 18086 on the North east bus enthusiast page on Facebook. You get lots of latest pics around that region of Scotland including a lot from Fife. So I use it as a good way for keeping up with the latest repaints. Is their any news on when the first Stagecoach west Plaxton Panorama or the first Plaxton Panther (the low floor/high floor access coach). I forgot the name of it the ones that operate the X55, X56 etc.

Are there any Volvo B10BLE/Wright Volvo Renown left?

According to the source I usually go by no, the oldest Volvo single decks with Stagecoach are Wright Eclipse bodied B7RLEs.

On that subject, apparently 21204 is back in service in it's heritage livery. I haven't managed to find any pictures yet though.

I think that's a B8RLE (Volvo B8R, Low Entry).

Yes you are talking about the Plaxton Panther LE. As you say, it's on a Volvo B8RLE chassis, exactly the same chassis as the new Lothian Evoras except the Panthers have three axles

Thank you so much! With all the Chassis I get confused sometimes.

To be fair, it's quite easy to get confused with chassis types. It was much harder many years ago when pretty much any bodywork could be built on any chassis.

Brilliant, well found and thanks for sharing
In my thoughts, I did think it would have looked better.
Perhaps so, but I guess it's commendable that they've tried to recall their heritage, many wouldn't even try.

Quick one - am I correct in believing that the new MMC's are delivered plain white and the swirls painted after delivery? If so what is the point of this - unless they are vinyls of course but I don't think they are.

ADL at Falkirk certainly painted Manchester and Fife's latest deliveries

Thanks. It must have changed then as previous vehicles were plain white.
The plain white vehicles are for Dover P&R and will receive vinyls after delivery. Based on the current P&R livery, it's fair to assume they will remain white underneath.
