Any Pics on Flickr Bud?

Does anyone know if any Stagecoach group have any Optare Solo SE (single Door at the front instead of the usual two) bringing my point on about the smaller Buses looking better in the new colours... I think that would look quite striking. Can't wait for the first Sprinter and first Eclipse Urban to be painted in the new Livery. The only thing I don't understand just now is why does Stagecoach Cambridge have a completely different new Livery from the rest?
Possibly some of the the ones owned by SWT but used by West Scotland, but those won't get the new livery. There are a few of SE length but with two doors around Stagecoach

Stagecoach Cambridge has a fleet painted into mint green for guided busway services. Currently however some of the Busway fleet are seeing use on other routes to spread 'decker capacity thanks to covid

There are no Solo SEs within the Stagecoach empire. An SPT owned example was operated for a short time on a tendered route but that's it!

One of Morecambe's Enviro 300s has been repainted into the new livery.....complete with a fat red Santa on the rear and green christmas trees on the side
Looks like a real paint job, not vinyls
No pictures online as yet.
The new livery is a proper paint job, but the Santa/Christmas graphics are just vinyls.

I don't think SC have any Solo SE's. As for Cambridge, are you talking about the green busway livery? Regular buses in Cambridge use regular Stagecoach livery.

Almost... Stagecoach Highlands have 47574 which is a Solo SE!

I'm not keen on Stagecoach's new livery and what have they done to the Magic Buses here in Manchester?! Stars?! At least a few are still in the blue and yellow livery, albeit they tend to work non-Magic services as the design is compatible with the regular buses on said routes!

I have seen a Sprinter repainted in Dover but wasn’t quick enough to get a photo.

I see, thank you all for the clarification. I didn't know the Mint Green was for the guided Busway specifically.

There's a bit of a story behind those ones, They were previously with Weaverway Travel who painted them into the NBC style livery with NBC Style logos. The name was "Noah Vale" (complete with NV logo), who used them largely on Rail Replacement work.

"Noah Vale" I'll let you work out the pun with that one...

Oh wow that's fascinating! Thanks for the info. That picture really does look the nuts though, and yes that's a great pun...

Why Stagecoach insist on repainting nearly end of life Tridents and Darts confuses me. This bus still has flipdots, and yet they've chosen to repaint it over an Enviro.
This is nowhere near end of life in Stagecoach South East’s mind. You’ve clearly not seen the state or age of some of the stuff that comes out of Ashford Depot. Busy urban area with most buses (Optare Solo’s eat your heart out) of similar registration age. Be nice to one day have something newer than a 2013 cascade from Thanet ;)

Until recently, I'd almost say Hampshire too until our wonderful delivery of E200 MMCs. That said, I cant complain at our mostly E300 fleet!

My friends dad is a bus driver, and here we have a photo of Swindon’s freshly painted 19167 in the new local livery

Unsure if mentioned already, but I see 34846 has also been repainted recently. Another variation for a dart, and actually making it look smarter than before in beachball, is the black window band.

Further to that, 36027 from the Winchester fleet has become the first of the traditional E200's to receive the new livery too. I'm surprised it's stayed though, that particular batch of 200s are awful!

I think that livery is a mess tbh
The old one had swooping lines above the cab and at the back. That looks like an 8 year old was let loose but didn't really even try!

It adds more colour which is a thing I think the new Livery needs. But done correctly is right. Has anyone seen the new Megabus Livery?

Are they really the same people? That's pretty decent! Nice rear swoop.

So... the new Stagecoach livery moves away from the Swooping curves in favour of a gigantic and oddly placed beach ball, while Megabus goes from Plain Blue to... Swooping Curves. Very strange!

I think it's similar to Citylink in a way of the swoop and same colours
If so then Megabus is the Poundland equivalent (other discount stores are available...)

The Citylink liveries are beautiful, classy and elegant. The same can't be said about the "new" Megabus livery. It genuinely is as if someone was bored in the office and thought "lets add some yellow to the side".

I couldn't agree more! I don't know if this is true or not so if Someone could confirm this it would ease my mind. Citylink were to get a few Scania Irazir (standard livery not Border Buses /West Coast Motors)... they were meant to get a few but they've only got the 1 I think. I see it sometimes on the M92. I'll send in a pic for those who haven't seen it. It's owned by Edinburgh CoachLines. Also not a big fan of the new Citylink Gold Livery on the Plaxton Panoramas, they would have suited the old Livery that the Astromegas and Irazirs wear. Also one more thing... were the now former Citylink Gold Elites shorter in length than say Stagecoach Fifes Elites? Elite I would look nice in the former Citylink Gold Livery I think. https://www.flickr.com/photos/quomaneastlothian/50391330772/

Edinburgh Coachlines have YR68NMF and YT19EBC in Citylink livery. They also have YR17RHA, YR17RHE and YR17RHF in Citylink Gold livery.

Right so they've got the two in normal Livery. I feel bad for the now Stagecoach Highlands Plaxton Panther 2 former Scottish Citylink. The Livery of Citylink suited them well now the express Gold Livery just makes them look horrible like it really doesn't suit the Elite I well, can't wait to see how a Panorama looks in the Livery. Can I ask why thier have been no branding on any new Livery repaint Stagecoach Vehicles?

Was on a Megabus Astromega to Glasgow in October and it was nice to see a Citylink Panther 2 as they aren't so common near the Dundee end anymore as have been cascaded to the Highlands by Elites and Panoramas.

Please remember that this thread is specifically for updates on re-liverying of Stagecoach vehicles; Scottish Citylink has its own thread.

Ah apologies about that.

I know we don't like the White Patch at the front of newly painted Vehicles such as the ALX 400. If you thought that white Patch was bad... look what I found. I really don't think the White Patch was necessary.

That just looks like they forgot to paint parts of it!

Beats me why they didn't approach Mr. Stenning with this colour palate and ask him to devise their new brand - they've got excellent results from him before.

That's true, maybe they wanted to try on their own I guess. When you get great results from someone/something you tend to go back again for possibly even better results. I think extra colour due to branding would make them look better. Odd how none have any
