This is getting ridiculous now.

We've been through this before, every single Lillyhall allocation is not welcome on this thread. You've managed to cope this far, why restart?

This post will probably get deleted, but it's really starting to bug me as I feel we'reheading back to square one.

For Clarification - There was a bus, out on a route, Somewhere, Tonight.

Oh? If you hadn't said I'd have had no idea :P
What on earth was such a vehicle doing out on such a route at such a time?

Blindtraveller is correct, Chorley are back after Tridents, I think management have finally realised that the P-VPN Olympians will be too old for schools in September.

Finally - 07andrew, there really is no need to celebrate joining up. Did you see me do anything special on 26th October to mark the more significat 5 years?!

no I didnt spot any celibrations and I sure wouldnt mark the occasion by telling us all what busses are out and about on there normal West Cumbrian runs.

Its a sad day when the olies are too aged even for schools, take it they wil be sold?

they still have so many in 1 place or another they aut to blooming well give you one!
And the feelings mutual and extends beyond the driver - I'd far rather travel on a olie than a trident any day!

More likely IMHO that they'll either stay in reserve for the Olympics, and then go to Kendal as Leyland replacements
or
go to Kendal as soon as they're replaced and move back to Chorley for the Olympics, with the Leylands covering (if needed) at Kendal

Ex Scotland MAN's 22121 & 22141 arrived at Carlisle this dinner time. They are set to replace 2 B10Ms from Carlisle. More are expected shortly to replace more B10Ms at Carlisle.

I had also heard that cost/feasability studies were being done for a new route with E300s, but I'm not sure I believe that.

Certainly losing the X60/1 would leave some space to be filled...

15681 has been on short 3s today, mad X3 on the blind when I got it just after 1.30.

Also 22809 did a 40 run before going onto the 47X school service and 22806/18/24 were all on 2/2a.

Pleased Cumbria are getting some more MANs, although from what I've heard S regs don't work so well up there haha. In any case, low floor is low floor!

So I take it then that Stagecoach aren't planning to apply when the tender for certain school routes comes round, meaning the P regs can go without replacement?

Should be 3 at Carlisle depot. From what I hear from a contact at Bluebird they will be moving to elsewhere in the North West and are not intended for Carlisle although they are due some shortly.
