47059 is 46A-47 today.
20902 and 20910 join 22104, 22108 and 35249 on 30/31. 22597 is 300-302, so at least 2 MAN E300's off dead, surprise surprise.

Edit: Add 35248 to that list of 30/31, so there's at least 3 missing MAN E300's.

X1s have been running in twos today as apparently there's a big event on at the Uni. Had brief chat with Paul who was working with 12 branded 22815 on the X1.

21007 on it's usual short 3s, I'm told it is limited to this service.
14196 has been knocking around as well, was on Layover on campus then spotted it running into Town.

Also ticket prices in the Lancaster and Morecambe area will be going up from the 30th of this month. Saver tickets will remain unchanged and tickets between town and the University and back will remain unchanged.

Anyone got an update on what's up at CE for paint at the moment?

Your third missing MAN was 22609 and it was on 31As in Whitehaven. I also noticed a Dart with yellow mirrors on 31. Seen a stagecoach inspector in Whitehaven which I haven't seen for a long time he was outside the old bus station on my way to hospital then on Lowther Street on my way back

Anyone know what 47018 was doing in Penrith this morning - when I passed it in King Street it had "Park & Ride" on the screen.

Are you sure it was not 47016 which is working out of Penrith on a special P&R contract?

I only gave you an update a couple of nights back!

Possibly gone for repaint, if so, 47007 should be back with us.

This may be of interest to some members; http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-15392845

47007 had only just been sanded down on Friday so it will not be complete yet. I would hope by Wed/Thur you will have the heap back.

22818 sat in Carlisle depot this morning, with Stagecoach in Cumbria stickers on. I assume this is just an error when they were putting stickers on.

16337 and 16397 both on 38's.

Can't be long before PR pick up their Tridents from ME, rather looking forward to Olys moving up to KL, even if it does mean the end of the Leylands :(

22818 with it's "in Cumbria" stickers:

The 2 raised front seats were the only 2 to not have been removed for retrimming, all of the others had.

i have noticed recently that most of the buses are starting to appear with yellow mirrors from ME, is there a particular reason for this? New law or something? :)

Due to a Megabus brakedown this morning 24122 had to be used on the 685 to Newcastle so the Coach could go to the rescuse. This was later replaced and ended up on the Cockermouth Sainsbury's contract.

62 branded 34697 was a brakedown changeover on the 93 before going back onto the 62. 16337 on the 600 although deckers on the 33/66/600 are not really rare these days.

Solo 47018 has spent the week on the 108 due to roadworks and is due to be on there until Saturday.

Aye, something to do with the new European whole vehicle type approval

Thought it would be the EU lol.

Had the pleasure of 21007 on a short three this afternoon with Gez at the wheel!

There was also a MAN and an Oly on short 3s at the same time, not sure what the PVR is now...

14196 running around on 3a this evening.

Didn`t see it till the last minute was waiting for the 555 but no show and whoever does the timetables for the 12 and X1 need to have another look as there is 2 buses setting off from the train station at the same time(xx:45), could easily miss the bus you want.

Another bad day for Carlisle due to B10Ms being off the road and a few others bit's and pieces.

24122 again on the 685 due to one of the Coaches becoming defective.

16343 on the 104 but had to be towed away but by the afternoon it replaced a defective 16337 on the 554.

20977 replaced 34715 on the 104. 16355 was on the 685 short while 397 was making up what is now the usual decker turn on the 38.

60 branded 34681 on the 62.

Versa 25222 just left Uni Campus working a 2a to Heysham. Think this is the first time I've ever seen a Versa on a full 2a, not great at rush hour lol

Finally got it to get tacho removed then! Hopefully won't be long until it's back out, should definitely ease things off a bit with deckers, seeing as there hasn't been a spare double decker for the past 5 months.

20902, 20918 and 20923 all on 30/31. 22108 on as well, followed it crawling along at 40mph on national speed limit, quite a long queue of cars behind it.
34218 extra X5's.
Freshly repainted 47007 replaced 47005 on Moorclose Circular 50.

17017 at Thomas Armstrongs of Flimby with its nose sticking out of the Tacho workshop......

Looks like she'll be gracing the streets of West Cumbria soon then! I almost nearly shouted yaaaaaaaay! ....but then had a moment of reflection and remembered what bus it is.
Rather hope its like a neeeew bus now, and actually worth keeping on the road this time! (if it can!) If all is well, it'll probably move better than the MAN's, doesn't take much....

34218 always stuck on 50 because its an easy route for it, then they put it on extra X5's. I don't get it  Even my brother is fed up of it going past the window(!) Need rid of the bloody thing....

If 300 was half hourly, I'd rather have 22600 on than a Scania  22600 was an excellent ride on 300, just wasn't fun having all 46 seats taken, uni bag squashed on my legs in the very tight legroom, with a crowd of standee's huddling together at the front as well. At least on a Scania, there's a bit of space to get my bag on the floor when someone needs to sit next to me.
