47617 on Workington Town's for a change on a Sunday, showing Moorclose Circular 50 instead of Moorclose Circular 50B, and Harrington Circular 46 instead of Salterbeck & Westfield 46B.

14205 and 14206 with DW Coaches (not my picture)

They have 14201/2 as well by the looks of the picture. From my records, it appears then that 14203/7 are the only ones not to have escaped the Barnsley scrap yards although 14209 is unaccounted for.

14198 - Centrebus
14199 - Stagecoach (Kendal)
14201 - DW Coaches
14202 - DW Coaches
14203 - Scrapped (last at Carlisle... roof damage)
14204 - Springfield/Howards
14205 - DW Coaches
14206 - DW Coaches
14207 - Last seen at Wigleys, presumed scrapped
14208 - Stagecoach (w/d at Morecambe depot), rumour was sold, unknown if now true,
14209 - Unaccounted for
14210 - Tees Valley

14207 and 14209 both showing up on DVLA as "Unlicensed", rather than "SORN", so rather likely scrapped.

Sure someone on here said 14208 was sold to the company that bought 14204, unless they changed their mind.

Still parked in the corner at White Lund, so not looking good, seeing the said company has acquired ex Stagecoach 3 axle Olympians lately for schools and you'd have thought they may have collected over the summer in time for the schools going back. Unless they didn't win the contract it was meant for or its developed a problem since... all speculation though.

14208 officially in reserve for Olympics cover. Can't say whether a sale agreement has been made as I don't know.

I do know that it was rumoured in May that there was a provisional sale agreement that would see Stagecoach sorting the crankcase out as a goodwill gesture (possibly in return for keeping it until the Olympics?)

The inner recesses of my tortured mind.
I've heard that there's been an accident on the M61 involving a bus and a motorbike. Firstly I sincerely hope that the motorcyclist is not seriously hurt, or worse and secondly I even more sincerely hope that it's not one of our X61s :(

Kendal depot this lunchtime;

14248, 14199, 14259, 14257, 18359 parked outside along with ODs car and the van.
20459 and 14256 in the fuel queue.

Parked inside; UID SchoolRunner, 33173 and 20458 plus I think 16185.

Red roof off a Trident dumped on the scrap at Lillyhall.
Roofless Trident in the chop-shop but too wet to hang about after work to I/D it. Probably 17277 as that's the last one I saw up there.

That was quick! Looking forward to seeing the finished article, if Kendal's Tridents are anything to go by then these ones will certainly look the part!

I am told 34692 had a spell on the 38's yesterday.

Passing through Chorley on the train yesterday 47487 appeard to have a defective blind and a paper blind in the windscreen.

Doesnt look like it's been reported yet so here it goes... 20977 back working out of Carlisle for the duration of the Morecambe contract and it is hoped that it will stay on to replace one of the ESA's examples as it now has Green Road fitted.

22108 went out on the 17:15 X5 connecting with X50 to Penrith, replaced a late running B7R coach (surprise surprise).
52628 back out on X5-X50's.
35247 on Sellafield 85 instead of a B10M, while 20473 and 20945 both out on 30/31.
20945 has had side destination blind removed, and rear painted over.
16649 went out on 17:30 Moorclose 50, replacing 47006.

Revised routes and timetables for services 3, 3A, 10 & 18 in Chorley

Following feedback after our recent service changes in the Chorley area, Stagecoach is pleased to announce the following changes which will take effect from 3rd October 2011:

3, 3A Chorley - Adlington - Blackrod

In order to provide residents in Limbrick with a bus service, we will operate two return journeys a day, Monday to Saturday via Cowling Brow, Limbrick and Bay Horse, instead of the A6. These journeys will be numbered 3A.

Most other journeys will operate from Chorley to Heath Charnock via Pall Mall, Moor Road, Lower Burgh Way and Myles Standish Way to the A6. This will provide an improved replacement bus service for residents in Lower Burgh.

10 Chorley - Astley Village - Buckshaw Village

The new Buckshaw Parkway rail station will open on 3rd October 2011. From this date, service 10 will divert via the new station bus stop in each direction. From the same date, the 0735 journey from Chorley on Monday to Friday will operate 10 minutes earlier, but still due to arrive back in Chorley by 0818 hrs. This is because of the large volume of scholars on the trip.

18 Chorley - Eaves Green / Weld Bank

The journeys which are temporarily diverted via Lower Burgh will no longer do so, as this section of route will see an improved service on the 3/3A routes. The will be an additional trip on Tuesdays and Fridays to provide extra capacity on the very busy trip immediately after 0930.

A new timetable booklet is at the printers and will be available from the usual outlets in the week before the changes.

Plus what's all this about the 109's on Evenings and Sundays...

Kendal's B10M School Runner 20711, which looked to be freshly repainted, has been on Driver Training duties in Lancaster today.

Spotted recently repainted 22823 on a 7 going past the train station to vale estate, didnt think these would fit round the tight corners on the marsh and abraham heights.
Been in manchester and think their volvo deckers really suit the magic bus livery, shame its the only area that has Magicbus.

See MANs on the 7 quite a lot these days!

Olys do look good in that livery but it may be there last months ahead!

Around another year I believe until Oly's will be off the main magic bus services, should only be, contract dependant, a small number of them left for school contracts, mainly at Stockport.

53336 on a 302 catch up, covering for a late running Scania. Unfortunately it got pulled off before going to Carlisle.
22104's rear display is now working, side still showing blank. 22108 is still blank side and rear but has had the programming updated the same as 22104.

Just came across this. Scania E400, standard blue interior with high back coach seats, but green livery. The only ones I believe are in build are Kendal's, and some for Stagecoach West.

I was saying to Mbonwick just the other day how awesome it would be to have KLs Scans in a kind of Lakes Link livery like the OTs, this is kind of a mix between the lakes livery and the hybrid livery!
