Ha way! Is 79 branded 24119 on the 79 actually worth reporting. I have no problem with the rarer stuff but things like that and 47722 on the 77A is normal and happens daily.

The vintage bus you got in Carlisle was doing tours from outside the Crown & Mitre hotel.

47022 on the 73/73A.

I'm sure you've wrote that on here, 79 branded E300 on 79!

I hope it's on 301/300 tonight, I'm going back to Carlisle again!

If you can find the post where I have said that then please show me.... I have certainly never listed off a sheet of every day allocations! If I have stated there was a E300 on the 79/179 it would be tongue in cheek.....

Although it's back out on the road, It's pleasing to see our much beloved 17017 back out on the road I'll have to take a ride on it to Carlisle one day! See if it's better than one of our Scania's.

17017 on 30.
20994 on 31.
14234 done a Workington - Whitehaven - Workington 302, covering for a very late 15684, which was looking very very hot!
20436 on short 302's, showing "Whitehaven300" and "Workington300".
20910 is the only B10M on Workington Town today, on Moorclose Circular 51. No long Darts on Harrington & Seaton either!

Portable ticket machine in use this afternoon for X4 and X5.

20910 and 34218 have swapped over on Moorclose routes now. 16184 done a catch up 50 after 34218 got stuck behind an accident in Workington.
MAN E300 on 300-302, think its 22597.
52628 on X4-X50.
20945 also on 30.

17017 getting rather smokey later on this afternoon.

I think the Profiles on X4/X5 have stopped scrolling on the displays, 53339 just showing Keswick X5.

Just depends which driver set the display. They have "Keswick X5" on them, and also "Keswick X5 Connecting with service X50 to Penrith". The one without scrolling is for when they do the 2215 X5 to Keswick, and what the summer X5 runs will show, with them not connecting with anything. Just straight to Keswick and straight back.

U will be lucky if it's ever happend! It will be a one off chance of 24122 been on 38 more than anything. :D

It does happen Andrew just not very often. Last time I saw 24122 was a couple of months back. It happend often until the branded ones become useless!

Can we cut the pointless posts again?
Quite interesting info from stagecoachuk and Andy, but unnecessary waffle in between...

There's no train service between Whitehaven and Carlisle this morning. Passengers are being advised to use the Stagecoach bus services (302-300) instead. There is rail replacement running apparently, but last time they said there was rail replacement operating, it was actually a train station staff member putting people onto 300 outside the station instead!

Branded ones are useless I agree, I was on 24120 on the 301/300 a few Saturday nights ago, (A Scania broke in Carlisle if memory serves correctly) 24120 kept on overheating, but it goes at better speed than Lillyhall's MAN's.
I think 24121 is the worst at Carlisle at the minute, Well last time I seen it it was, but I've noticed 24123 has started overheating as well, But as I say Carlisle's MANs are better than Lillyhall's MANs.

And odd day in Lancaster today:

47016 and 47730 both made it onto short 3s between about 5pm and 5.30pm. 47016 ran dead to the Uni before running as a 3 back into town so may have been covering for a late service/breakdown.

20128 was on 2a at the same time.

Also of not was 20133 on Sainsbury's bus and 28827 on X22, it was an Oly yesterday.

Had a trip over to Newcastle to look round the Uni today.

At least 3 M reg B10M Paladins were noted in service, along with some step darts (nothing surprising there).
A branded Jonck was on 685.

Also passed on the A69 was a burnt out coach on tow. Only caught a glimpse, but I think it was an old Van Hool Alizee. White with 3 horizontal blue stripes; if anyone can supply ID....

Eddie Stobart had 1 Coach on the rail replacement!

Both of the 685 Coaches were out, I sampled both and they are as bad as ever.

There are still 12 B10Ms in active service in Newcastle, 9 of which are Paladins. There is 14 Darts still in service, all Alexander apart from 1 Plaxton IIRC.

20451 appeared to be on 600 late this afternoon.
47022 on 38 when I was leaving Carlisle, speed varying between 40 and 50 on national speed limit, but sticking nearer 40. Wasn't sounding pretty at all at "speed".

33076 on 67/68.
