If Preston did get the 6 Tridents I mentioned yesterday, could it be that these will work 59 and 61 (I believe they need 6 buses in total), and Chorley get something else from somewhere?

17201 has just been sat on the annexe. It brought through a portable ticket machine from Carlisle, dropped it off at the bus station, then went up to Lillyhall. It wasn't really picturable, with how it was parked and how the sun was on it, but got a rather frontal one just to show it was there.

God it actually made it that far and has been repainted! Was never the fastest...!
Twas the only one, out of four, I could id in the paintshop earlier 22817 no doubt taking its place

17201 was due to leave around 14.30 with the driver coming down on the 300.Was not supposed to take a Trident back but there happend to be one ready. Got a shot of you turning down Willowholme Rd in the MAN Gez, will send it on.
20451 on the 67/68 but was replaced at some stage so that it could go onto the 94s and its school contract.
16870 & 20945 on 600s.
Didn't notice anyone lurking around with a camera, was going back on the bus, but the thing would not start so I was late getting up there and hd to make do with a ride on the train, bagged three 70s and the 11 car Pendolino so worked nicely, along with a nice aray of Reys

17020 was parked in Thurnham Street by the Town Hall at abt 08.20 with its hazard lights going. Then abt a hour later there was an accident between a Motorbike and an estate car in King Street, which was reduced to one lane for nearly two hours!
ALL buses have been running late, nearly all day. The duty bus station inspector sent the spare buses out to try to keep the services running. This caused a problem when buses came in with drivers due to come off for meal breaks, and there being no relief driver available! So passengers were being left on buses with no driver, until one became available.

I followed the 12.40 89 Knott End, into Lancaster at 13.12, with the late running 13.02 8C St.Chads.

Horrific day round town like you say. I was impressed that you were only 15/20mins late on your 1602 departure!
1620 556 finally left at 1640, and got out of Lancaster proper at 1655.
Latest award for a Morecambe service goes to the 1550 49, which finally got away from LBS at 1617.

Highlights of the new fleet card are mainly:
16441 to Barrow to replace 14266
52405 to Manchester
47019 to Lillyhall reserve
33163 storage at Carlisle
Few Solos went to reserve at Preston as well.
16353 has moved to Disposal and is currently getting its engine robbed and hopefully the LED will find it's way out as well. 52414 is on the pit getting converted to DT. 18158 was taken back to Preston tonight freshly repainted.
47022 was Citi spare today but replaced 34038 on the 521/66/38/75 so that 34048 could replace a Dart on the 62. 20907 on the 38. 24117 replaced a over heating 20959 on the 179.

They could of sent 17017 down to Barrow (When it comes out of VOR) So they could make it a spare for the Tridents branded for Urban Connect 6/6A. Although Lillyhall must remove the overall rear branding for ASDA Workington.
But... 16441's short stint at Lillyhall looks as though it has came to a very unexpexted end.
