Carlisle depot today:

20904 & 20960 on pits with 34703 & 34715. 52627 also on pit.

47018 just left the paint shop along with 52613/4 and it looks like 34701 has been treated too.

42672 has moved to the very back corner and 20943 is blocking it in. 20943 it self has been parked there for a good while now. 16355 back from its spell on the 300 in the depot.

All MPD, 34048 & 47721/2 out. Presume 47022 out as well.

36184 is apparently at ME to have 'Green Road' fitted.

Also for those who may be interested the blinds on our MANs have been changed again so they are like the LED ones with no via points at all.

MCV Evolution, YJ60 GGP. Demo previously with Centrebus. I believe it has the shorter MAN chassis.

52628 was on X4, replaced by 53336.
20910 was on 300, replaced by a Scania, making it all 4 Scania's.
20994 was a 600.
16870 was on 30/31, replaced by 20436. 20962 and 35247 also on.
35248 on short 300's.

Kendal's 18356 (Wordsworth vinyl's) went through Workington this afternoon, came in from Carlisle direction, then went straight through the town centre, up towards Lillyhall.

20909 on 1640 300 from Carlisle, hasn't been out and about for quite a while that thing.

The MCV doesn't half look out of place!!! Far too big! I wonder if 20909 has replaced the dead 20943, would make sense considering it has been in the dead corner for what seems like weeks.

Reays have two MCV Evolutions working today in Carlisle one as mentioned YJ60GGF on 63 the other YJ60 GFA on the 63A both are showing Reays name on the legal panel.

My money is they still have the old prices on as I haven;'t been there for two days to scrape them off

18139 arrived at morecambe today. A few buses from Morecambe have had green road fitted too today but not set up to work yet. It's 24116 that's down from Carlisle.

All so 17023 has a shiny engine and gearbox awaiting to be fitted
47017 is getting a bottom half repaint after accident damage repaird.
22809 is sat in garage with rear advert taken off and half the engine.
Barrow training coach all so passing thru when I started work the driving instructor here doing the green road stuff.

Seems Morecambe has got some visitors lol. Strikes me ass odd that a CE MAN has come down, that said suppose they are rather busy in Cumbria! Although just thinking about it it could be down for Green Road instalment like the other stuff.

Glad to hear 17023 will be back with us soon! Wonder how long it'll be before the remaining S reg's need their engines replaced, apart from 17020 of course.

Green Road should be interesting...

Very strange that the Carlisle Enviro is with you. Carlisle pits are empty at the moment so it cannot be because they are too busy. Suppose we will have to wait and see! At least it means there is going to be at least 1 B10M on the 79s today as there is a Enviro in the depot.

22609 seen in Carlisle today running not in service. Came up Georgian way at 12:20 and headed back along Lowther Street a couple of minutes later heading out of town after briefly stopping outside Pippins

I noted it about 10am and then again at the bus station around 12.15 with a Lillyhall driver and a Carlisle fitter.

16397 on the Wigton Market Free Bus
20924 on the 79/179
20451 on the 38
16355 on the 554
20910 on the 300

Reays have 3 Evolutions running around today on the 63/63A - YJ60GFA, YJ60GGF & YJ60GGO.

52614 has went to Scotland from Carlisle but 52613 is still present being supported by bricks and poles, looks like the suspension has give way. There is a Kendal B10M in the bodyshop along with a London Trident. The only bus in the paint shop at present is another London Trident.

34691 has not been repainted but had all its Citi related vinyls took off.

Read earlier post concering 52613..... Only noted 3 Evolutions in service, obviously not looking hard enough!
