Was much better seeing it later on in the day. Every seat taken and a crowd of standees at the front  Picture's didn't come out brilliantly well on them runs though! :(

Can't believe it stayed on all day! ...poor lil thing, will be tired out  Saying that, it probably performed better in some places than the MAN!
Hopefully it won't start being a regular thing - surprised they didn't put a B10M on.

Will be interesting to see how 47022 takes to Carlisle, from what I've heard its seems worse than LL solos, well 47024 ;) - but its not lumpy bumpy West Cumbria... so will have to wait see!

Just a normally boring day in Lancaster today, except and this hurts me to say it, Travellers YE52 FGX broke-down just before 2pm.

Took their time fixing it then! Was still sat dead on bus station at 1620 when you pulled in and nearly whacked the RVC Vario...;)

The inner recesses of my tortured mind.
An odd working on the X61 today was Trident 17019 (S819 BWC) which replaced 16651 (R251 NBV).

I had the immense misfortune to be allocated 16654 (R254 NBV) today. What a heap o' junk! Bet you Lillyhall chaps were glad to see the back of it!

I certainly don't miss them! Don't think I'd be using the bus every Monday morning to Uni if it was still the R-NBV's! Don't particularly like the Scania E400's either, but lets face it, I'd rather travel on one of them than use the ridiculous rail service here!

47005, 47060 and 47062 on Harrington and Seaton. 47005 has knackered windscreen wipers.
47023 on Moorclose 50. It has lost 1 of it's rear lights.
20962 on Moorclose 51.
All 4 Scania's on natural 300.
20944 on CE, 600.
34214 on short 685.
24116 and 24121 on 79/179.

I also had a walk down to the depot today and this is what I saw:
33076 sat outside bodyshops.
52414 and 52627 sat beside the bus wash.
16343 (which as overall rear branding for panarama), 20909, 20966 and 16337 sat beside the metal fence.
52027, 16351 (with school bus signs), and 16353 were sat outside the big shed.
Old osprey bus 42545 was sat on the pits with several B10M's.
24122 sat in depot elsewhere.

What do you mean by natural 300???

42545/20895/20979 are being prepared to move to Lillyhall.

16343 had that advert for a long time now. 16351 been out of use for a good while.

Can anybody provide me with a list of all of Reays Mercs?

Everytime I think I have them all there is another one!

Original reg's would be handy also!

Im told by another forum member that 34697 is out on the 600 tonight, If I have the boards right it would have been on the 38 today.

Indeedy it was! (Unless I read the numbers wrong. No way was I leaving my pint in a pub while I went out to check the number!)

As for Reays Mercs:
B6 CWR - N463 VOD (ex Stagecoach North West)
B7 CWR - N965 NAP (ex Stagecoach South. Previously B8 CWR)
B8 CWR - N647 VSS (ex Stagecoach North West, Carlisle, Honister Slate Mine Vinyl)
B10 CWR - N961 NAP (ex Stagecoach South)
B12 CWR - N972 NAP (ex Stagecoach South)
B13 CWR - N976 NAP (ex Stagecoach South)
B14 CWR - N925 NAP (ex Stagecoach South)
B15 CWR - N946 NAP (ex Stagecoach South)

{all 709D's believed to be on a group finance arrangement, however not confirmed}

Then its Primo's:
PX10 ABZ (owned by Reays. 75 branded)
PX10 ACF (owned by Reays, 75 branded)
KX57 FKV (financed. CityHopper branded)
YX10 ECY (financed. 64A branded)
YX60 DXA (financed. 63 branded)
YX60 DXB (financed. 64 branded)
YX60 DXC (financed. 63A branded)
YX60 DXD (financed. 63 branded)
YX60 DXE (financed. 63A branded)
YX60 DXF (financed. 64 branded)
YX60 DXG (financed, 64 branded)
YX60 DXH (financed, 64 branded)

with at least 2 more buses on the way for the new 70 service, starting in May.

I was thinking sometime yesterday that with the PVR change in Workington, That Lillyhall should withdraw 34079? Because we're doing fine without it that's all.

@stagecoachuk I meant long 300 when you asked me what I mean. natural came into my head for some reason.

@Lilly Hall: I think it's about time we seen the back of it, we've got mini darts 34215 and 34218 which will cover our PVR, when we got rid of the 3 marshall darts we only had 34079 to cover for missing solos, but now we've got 34215 and 34218 then I don't see any point in keeping 34079. :)

Yes, the PVR is fine, on paper, but the Solos are getting ridiculously unreliable and keep disappearing! I kind of want it to come back, see if it can actually be better this time and help with PVR on towns. - as we keep saying, losing 47474 without initial replacement didn't help. 20962 on 51 yesterday!

But at the same time (as many West Cumbrian's would agree!) I wouldn't want it to come back, as it would most likely be worse, and continue to be off the road more than its on it. 3 months VOR (and counting!). A reliable LF replacement that is actually wheelchair friendly/accessible would be appreciated!

All of yesterday's photo's uploaded if anyone is intrested can be found in the link below!

...And yes 47474 going without replacement hasn't helped you're right, although 34215 and 34218 were called as "Late Replacements" by some member's on here! :)
--- old post above --- --- new post below ---
Take it that 42545/20895/20979 will probably be going onto disposals then?

I actually don't want them too, If I was me I would want them all to come into service at Lillyhall although 42545 is a steppy mercedes, we have a LF crisis at Lillyhall. But for 20895 and 20979, we also need them to come into service to cover for missing E300's on 30/31, Mini dart 34218 was on there on friday when the PVR is 10 MAN E300's and 2 56reg darts.

Plenty of B10M's at Lillyhall for that. 20901, 20902, 20903, 20905, 20913, 20934 and 20952 are all sat on reserve. 20921 and 20931 on disposals. They're not needed though.
It's long Darts where the problem is really. 34616 and the 4 56 reg's to cover the 1 needed on route 2, 2 on 30 and 31, and 2 on 31A. If one is missing (as they are now), there's 3 spare B10M's, and 2 spare deckers to cover, as well as 2 spare mini Dart's

If what I have heard about 34079 is correct I will not be best pleased! Was vile when I had it on the 300 a while back.
