47006 (16 Minutes late when I went to town on the 1551 46A from the oval)
and 47059 (8 Minutes late) on Harrington Circulars.
20945 and 47061 on Seaton.
47024 on 50.
16734 on 51.
53336 on 1620, X4.
15686 on 1630, 300 to Whitehaven (12 Minutes late).
15684 (I think) on 1635, Carlisle 300 (24 Minutes late).
34215 on Short 300. (18 Minutes late when it left bus station).
20962 and 22611 (I was a passenger) on 30/31 and its led is back to normal.
20910 been on Sellafield.

Usual Wednesday rush today. Had 14196 on a out of service shuttle into town. Put the blinds as the 3 while students got on then put it as out of service for the journey into town. Saw either 20128 or 20131 heading dead up to the Uni about 20 mins ago and an Oly running dead heading toward the Uni as well. Not sure whether they were for shuttles or not.

After been on the X1 earlier 16657 did the 500. 2 MANs were also on schools from Ripley.

20133 on 3
21005 on X1
Scania on 42 again this evening.

Now some of the Carlisle school services have ceased, will it free up a few N reg ollys to come to LL to let the 4 R regs go to Cy????

As far as I am aware only 2 Volvo Olys will be freed up from Carlisle and they may go to Barrow. At the moment the theory is that the 4 N reg Olys from Newcastle go to Preston (all are in service) then 4 of Preston's long wheelbase Olys go to Lillyhall meaning the 4 R reg Olys at LL can go to Chorley. Obviously none of this has been officially confirmed but it seems likely.

14257 and 52635 were both parked outside of ASDA at 1240-ish. 52635 was sat in the bus stop when I was driving onto the car park, 14257 had just came from the old site of Workington North Station, where it'll have turned around from ASDA Free Bus. It would appear that 52635 replaced it on free bus duties, but not sure.

16714 on annexe.
16652 (or could have been 16651) used as staff shuttle for driver change in Maryport.
34616 running Not in Service towards Maryport.
22600 being as loud as ever on 30/31.


Just for comparison reasons really, the Preston Bus fleet stats stand at an average age of 2002, with 73% accessibility.

And since the R reg ones are long, they could wave on the way past each other on the M6! Couldn't Preston send just send their 4 to Chorley, which is just down the road, and the 4 R reg ones at Lillyhall stay where they are?

The R reg's at LL have high backed seats which are ideal for x61 which is a long hall route. Preston's long Olys have bench seats which are fine for what LL will use them from.

few days of purely Stagecoach on the towns then! only days Carlisle Citi network won't be running is 25th December and 1st January! (special timetables, or saturday/sunday level of service will be in place though, not standard mon-fri timetables).
