A common misconception about 22600... despite the dodgey noises is makes... that bus can't half go! Followed it up High Street the other night and it was doing 45mph going past the Travellers Rest.

I like how you can always tell that its 22600 before you even get to see the reg or fleet number!

What happened to 47006? Was working towns today, so I think yes
Its noisy to stop it from overheating
not that it would happen in this weather hahaYou don't even need to SEE what type of bus it is to know its 22600, just by hearing hahaI like how you can always tell that its 22600 before you even get to see the reg or fleet number!
Do we know how long 34218 will be out for?

mini Dart 33076 was built without a wheelchair ramp at all (the same as Stagecoach Westerns V-DRM Darts), so there's no holes to look for where a wheelchair ramp storage box should be [/QUOTE]
These vehicles were new to White Star of Lockerbie but were taken over by S/C. I think they had an 02 reg or two as well. Bit of useless info there!!!

Iv noticed quite a few times lately there has been a volvo oly or a b10m on short 300 i know 34218 is in casualty ward at the minute so thats probaly why.

I think 34079 is the worst bus Lillyhall as had in the depots history.
Its on Moorclose 51 now! 47006 was on there this morning...
20907 on my 1640 300 home. Some passengers got on in Maryport, saying a 30/31 hadn't been through since just before 5 (this was at quarter to 6). a 30 and 31 then turned up within a few minutes of each other. Nearer to Workington, 16652, 22600 (certainly sounded like it anyways) and another MAN E300 were running 30 and 31's to Maryport within 2 minutes of each other... wouldn't it have made more sense to just send 1 through, leave the other 2 at Workington to send out to Frizington / Thornhill on time? :roll:
53337 was sat on annexe with 16653 when I got to Workington at 6.

As for 34079, I've been on it once, before it got towed away from outside the bus station, and was one of the worst rides around the Moorclose Circular i've had haha, can't imagine how rough the ride must be now!
17017 proving to be just as reliable, been off the radar for a few weeks now!

CUMBRIA POLICE GET TOUGH ON SNOWBALL THUGS
Police have pledged to crackdown on snowball-throwing yobs responsible for hundreds of complaints after a bus driver was hospitalised and a toddler hurt in Carlisle.
In one of the most alarming cases, a Carlisle bus driver had to be treated in hospital for an eye injury after a snowball was thrown through the vehicle door, hitting him in the face as he sat at the wheel.
That happened at about midday on Thursday on Edgehill Road, Harraby, when the bus stopped to pick up passengers.
The Stagecoach driver was taken to the city’s Cumberland Infirmary but later released after treatment.
Police are appealing for information to help them catch the culprits and Stagecoach bosses have condemned the attack.
Phil Smith, operations director for Stagecoach North West, said: “Throwing any object at someone driving a bus or any other vehicle is extremely stupid and dangerous.
“This incident not only endangered the driver but the people on the bus and the other road users.”

Well i suppose the only routes 34215 and 34218 have been on is 47, 50 and 51 and because i live in the 46 area of town I haven't been on them yet so maybe when calva bridge opens they'll probaly come round salterbeck then hopefully when the 46/46A/47 turn back to 3 bus operation.

The Tridents disappeared off 2/2A's following a visit to the Bus Station by VOSA, who were carrying-out road-side safty checks on all the buses!

30 and 31's have been delayed by up to 30 minutes. 300's experiencing long delays as well. I was waiting for 0835 300. An inspector kindly told us at 0840 that it would be up to 15 minutes late, cos it was stuck at Lillyhall. Still no sign of it at 0920. Too cold to hang around much longer, so no uni for me today
Due to adverse weather conditions across the North West, the following services on Tuesday 7th December will be operating as follows:

All services West Cumbria are experiencing delays, due to the road conditions.
Services 56 & 57 are suspended.
Service X4 is suspended.

Services 6/6A are having difficulties operating around Greystone Estate and may be stopped shortly.
