Aww! I missed the chance for a run out on a B10B. Obviously an accident is never good, but still...

14196 and 20463 were on LRGS school this afternoon. 16666 was on this morning along with 20133.

I guess you'll find out if your at work tomorrow Jonesy.

I suspect it'll have gone to Morecambe though, Kendal don't have the time or resources to sort accident damage.

18358 was the vehicle involved at skerton triangle, two smashed n/s windows next to the passenger doors.

A 56 reg Dart did a short X5 this morning and then replaced 20923 on 30/31. 34079 is now on short 300, so I presume 20923 has gone on Seaton.

17017 on 30/31, chucking out plenty of black smoke! MCW also on.

H118 on 48's.

16666 running shuttles from the Uni into Lancaster with Private Hire on the blind and an un-programmed ticket machine.

40033 looks much better with its branding!

Also Lancashire County Council are planning to charge the parents of children who go to faith schools £2 a day for bus travel so this will effect Ripley St Thomas mainly in our area.

Also now that the M6 link has been given the go ahead we can expect a new Park & Ride scheme in Lancaster when it is completed. I think the time frame is 5 years with work starting in 2012.

Magic Bus liveried NC bodied Volvo Oly 16103 (R103 XNO) is at Carlisle awaiting paint prep. it has front side and rear flip dot's in place, and is retrimmed.

33161 on 69.
52409 on 685.
20895 is spare bus in city centre.
connections to Carlisle branded 24122 on 104, after a piston or something blowing on 104 branded 24123 last week. seems to be a bit of a problem on them MANs

47721 (i think) sat in back of Carlisle depot, with 42577.
Vario's 42090 and 42094 withdrawn for the winter.
14265 has had a few front o/s corner bodyparts removed.

Wednesday, may well have been on the Sainsburys run

No I was on it and the conductor at the underpass was checking tickets and passes as we got on. Last week they had 16877 on shuttles between the Uni and town to help with over crowding.

Also Jonesy do you know where the N/C B10's may see service?

I wonder where 16103 will end up! Hopefully 16103/24 are just the beginning in terms of Olys moving up!

Well I'm not sure whether it would be ME unless one replaced 20463 (on reserve so unlikely) or 2 M reg B10B's but I can't see that happening either. KL have M's left but they are doing work on them so looks like they are staying. They could join a fleet as part of a PVR increase...who knows :)

47006 on Workington Town Evening Services.
47005 done 2015 X5 to Cockermouth and back.
53337 on 2015 to Penrith.
47061 sat on annexe waiting for 2215 X5 to Keswick.
47617 on evening 30.

17017 was sat on annexe after 30/31 tonight. when it left, it sounded a bit different than it did before it broke, didn't pull away anywhere near as fast as it used to either! it actually reminded me of Manchester's knackered W reg ones!!!

From rumours on other forums, it sounds like Merseyside MagicBus will end at the end of December, with ex-HK Darts from somewhere down south transferring in to make up the PVR.
This will allow all the B10Ms to go, and the W---DNO Darts to transfer to NW.

Interesting rumours, no idea if they're true or not. Would be handy if they are!

not North West, but here is a picture of the new Plaxton Panther for Stagecoach Midland Red, in Megabus livery (not my picture)

Stagecoach management appointments
Former MD at Stagecoach Manchester, Mark Threapleton, has been appointed to head up Stagecoach's recently acquired East London Bus Group Ltd.
Mark will manage the operation's 4,800 employees, 1,400 buses and ten depots. The £53m acquisition deal has given the company a 15% share of the capital's bus market.
Replacing Mark in his previous role is the current MD of Stagecoach North West, Chris Bowles, who takes the position from 8 November 2010. Paul Southgate has been named as the new MD of Stagecoach North West, effective from the same date.
MD of Stagecoach UK Bus, Les Warneford, said, 'We have a strong team of senior managers across the business and I would like to wish Mark, Chris and Paul every success in their new roles.'

Panther looks good!

Am I right in thinking that as well as Paul Southgate coming in as the new NW MD there will be a small move around of depot OM's as well?

Traveller's Choice appear to have a Plaxton Cheetah Vario on 8A today.

Solo must be in for work, wonder if its yet another fuel leak lol! I've only seen the one solo today, heading through Greaves, does it usually take this route?

Had a ride on 20128 on the X1 earlier and liked it. Sounded good and ran well.

16877 on 42
21004 on X1
40033 at the underpass as usual.
