something really does need sorted about our lack of low-floors. Only three on today it seems, don't know where this sudden shortage has come from! If right I think Harrington had its two low-floors today, they should of stuck one on seaton

You won't get a B10 round Salterbeck due to ridiculous "parking" so there'll always be two Solos on it (until Calva bridge re-opens).

No, they're not, it is always possible to get a B10M around Seaton and Wastwater Ave. It is impossible to get a B10M around the 46/46A route due to parked cars.

Yeah its possible, but not ideal. My neighbour has had his wing-mirror knocked twice by B10's on the corner of Lorton/Scawfell Ave mind - partly his fault for parking too near the ruddy junction I think

Totally agree with Harrington's though

22600 back in service, still sounding ill. it seemed to have quite a lot of rev's on, but didn't seem to actually be going anywhere!
35247 and 35248 on 30 and 31. i'm pretty sure i saw 35246 on as well, but might be wrong.
16714 was seemingly the only step entrance on 30 and 31 today.

Kendal early this morning:

33170, 47008/9, 47058 all on town services.

20219 awaiting fuel after coming off the first 555 down from Ambleside.
33173 trapped in between Leylands.

Expect to see some slightly odd allocations from Kendal over the next few weeks - they've lost all their outdoor parking while the roof is repaired.

KLCH I think, they've got 2 now.

They get used up in Cumbria during the day - I saw one on 564 this morning - before running dead down to Lancaster to start 42s

So I've been reading on Facebook lol
cainebj didn't seem too impressed tbh, he texted me saying that 15683 smelled of burning and he'd "rather have Peter Rabbit"

Now, 18356 is pretty dire in the context of Tridents, let alone brand new Scanias!

With regards to Morecambe's latest: Chesterfield's last 2 have been spotted on delivery, so hopefully some time this week.
--- old post above --- --- new post below ---
Expect severe disruption to Lancaster services and 555; a caravan has jacknifed at J33 and traffic is currently queued up the M6 to J37ish.

It's taken my mum well over twice as long as normal to get out of Lancaster going north...

47059 and 47062 on Harrington - 47062 displays not working agaiiin, has two pieces of A4 up with 46 and 46A printed on
34616 on Seaton didn't catch what the other bus actually was, but was an LED display solo
20994 did the 1325 Northside

seen 20910 and 20904 on the X5 today (switched over at 1320)- both very full arriving and departing!

Yes indeed, we have just come back from the Lakes and came off at Carnforth coming through Lancaster that way. Took us half an hour to get through Skerton.

Been up in Borrowdale since Monday so been able to see slimline solos and open top Olys up close and personal. Also managed to spot the Osprey Bus on its last day yesterday.

I also got Cainebj's texts lol he also mentioned that apparently one has broken down somewhere on route!!!!!!!

Also may find this interesting http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-beds-bucks-herts-11129674

Wonder if it'll be as simple as the numberus "failures" when Preston got thiers for X2?

Basically, drivers weren't fully raising the suspension after kneeling, then wondering why the bus wouldn't move

We'll soon see!

Apparently the NW are having a reshuffle of some of their operations managers. Stephie Barber, ME's current OP is moving to Preston while Preston's OP is moving to ME. Stephie's second in command is going to KL. Have no ides how much of that is true.

You're absolutely right about the Scanias Pricey.

With regards the E400Hs, AFAIK there are no plans to reregister them; they will enter service when a few more have been delivered.

Only thing noted passing the Slyne Lodge was a Hookways Joncheere and a piar of Pineways, A6 looks clear now

Mmmmm indeed I didn't know what to make of it when I read it. Is Trevor still OP at KL?

15680 back from Preston earlier. Bit of a squealer that one! Something rubbing somewhere? Only at higher speeds. Those seats over the back wheels are rock hard!

Almost makes you long for the days when "longer distance" Leyland Nationals would all get coach seats fitted.

I think it was Peter Rabbit was in Carlisle Bus Station on its way to Willowholme, most of the transfers were off and there were new pannels also on the bottom in white.

Trevor is fast approaching retirement

I think it was Peter Rabbit was in Carlisle Bus Station on its way to Willowholme, most of the transfers were off and there were new pannels also on the bottom in white.

The new pannels, are replacement for the ones that got damaged when it hit the scaffolding at the corner of Spring Garden Street & King Street in Lancaster a couple of weeks ago.

Non Stagecoach news, is that the two Travellers solos on Lancaster Town Services have now been fitted with CCTV, due to the continuing problems on Ryelands.
