16184 has been in use on the 9s, 61s and 68s. 17021 isn't yet into service yet (seems odd seeing the 9's and 68's at least are low floor routes) so I suspect it may be needing some work and is awaiting a slot in the busy workshop.

Ahhhh OK hope its out soon!!!

47005 on 50 and 47061 on Moorclose today, 47061 carrying a few battle scars especially along the drivers side.

While seeing the usual Stagecoach SLF darts and E300's flying around, I had a first real good luck at Reays Plaxton Primo 2's today in Carlisle and I think that they are great little buses! The interiors are very neat and look to drive pretty smoothly. They do look like bendy's which have lost the back end (as mensioned before, I think!) but they are pretty good. Be great to see one in a Stagecoach livery... ;)

All Services running through the south end of Maryport were disrupted between 10:45 and 11:10 today, as a small boy was (I believe) hit by a car. No vehicles were allowed past the Traffic Lights by the Station Inn, Grasslot, and due to this 16447 (Running 300's) was held up on the south side of the incident for some time, and An Enviro 300 held at the stop which is 2 meters from the lights. From what i could see the Driver of the E300 had been assisting at the scene and the boy was sat up, conscious.

It turns out that two young children had been hit by the car outside Grasslot Infant School and have been taken to hospital with suspected leg injuries.

It doesn't say the injures were serious, but I hope everyone makes a speedy recovery

This would explain why 16447 arrived at Carlisle at about 1220 and left very soon after.

A few sightings from a brief spell in Carlisle this morning:

16338 on the short 685
52408 on the long 685
33161 on the 60
42090 on the 620
42094 on the 95
20907 and 20966 on 66s
20944 on the 554
20909 on the 179
42577 on the 101

A few new shots added to http://caroline-mathews.fotopic.net/c1817930.html

Rather more Carlisle stuff on my partner's site, http://www.stephenmitchell.fotopic.net/, which I have the pleasure of editing for him!

Workington... Yay.
It would appear that the above is incorrect
The roof is not actually being replaced, work is being carried out on the timber supports, it also looks like the steel framework is being relieved of many years worth of grime and pigeon poo!

Elsewhere, Lillyhall's 40011 (non PCV) has been fitted with an LED blind.

The white parts of the walls are being done as well :)
Interesting about 40011, look forward to seeing it around

Bit of a dim moment here.... 40011 is LL's new "Infobus"... Right?? (One of those days!!)

Also...
Does anyone know when/if 17017 will be hitting the streets??

Yeah its the new info bus! 40033 (Morecambes new one) also has an LED so they must plan to use it for advertising. I think 40011 is the better of the 2.

Unless they plan to do work on 17017 it should be out ASAP I would have thought!!!

There's nowt wrong with the KX51 solo's, they are fine for town services, not much good on the 1, but even the newer solo's can struggle on that run. 47007 is the best of the three.

They were expected to arrive last week, so they shouldn't be far away.

Would hope that ME's are not far behind!!! That should free up 17019/22 and a 55 :)

Is ME actually receiving another B10 or 2 as it seems to have been ages since it was mentioned!!!

Also I assume the 3 Versa's on the SC order were the ones for the X12, so if they have been included in the press release can it be assumed that they are still be purchased...?

A 55 reg would be a nice spare for the 300

Indeed but it could be that another 55 goes to Kendal and 16185 goes to Preston. Another idea would be to send to CE for the 554. I would imagine that if they are going to the trouble of tachoing some MANs to act as 300 spares they don't expect a spare decker.

It would seem that CE are not running the 554 with a decker anymore, it's been a B10 for quite some time.

Maybe the MAN's are just being done for the evening 301?

The 554 is a B10 as there are spare's due to school holidays, back to DD operation when the schools are back as it does a school in the morning and afternoon from Dalston that requires a DD.

It's been parked in the dead lane alongside 47474, so I have no idea what is happening with it. It is definitely going into service at some point though.
It is still sporting "Bay Dayrider" and "Bay Megarider" adverts at the moment.
Hopefully they will be changed before it hits the road.

Although a silly suggestion, I do hope its not waiting to be branded for the 30/31!?

So in theory a 55 plate could go for the 554. This would be good as it links with the 555 which is already low floor. However 17022 has been rumoured as going to CE. I really have no idea will have the wait till are 4 remaining Scans turn up!!!
