Kendal have 9 tacho'd Tridents for 555 / 556, of which has a PVR of 6!!! meaning Tridents end up on school work as well.
22596 died yet again on 30 and 31, it was replaced by 20918.
20903, 20962 and 35246 also on 30 and 31.
16651, 16653, 16654 and 16734 on 300.
20473 was on short 300, but was replaced by 20129.
42025 on 58.
47006 on Maryport Town.
on the note of Scania E400's, and 22600 acting as the "spare", they'd have to hunt 22600 down on 30 / 31 to swap it with a B10M to put it onto the 300, all of which takes extra time, so in reality, a tacho'd B10M or Oly would just end up on. i've heard from other regions that the Scania's can be extremely unreliable at times. Cheltenham have had a few of them back to Scania for various electrical repairs. Western havn't taken too kindly to their new batch of them either, due to them leaking in water, of which is getting into the electrics, that being quite a large problem for a bus full of electrics!!!
I agree, in an ideal world LL would also have a few more L/F saloons, but unfortunately that is not the case, so I doubt they will send an extra L/F decker.
I have no idea about KL's fleet.
There's only a couple that seem to play up when they get a bit warm, 22600 not one of them.
Fleet Statistics:
Carlisle - average age 9 years, accessibility 57%
Lillyhall - average age 9 years, accessibility 46%
Kendal - average age 12 years, accessibility 47%
Barrow - average age 10 years, accessibility 58%
Morecambe - average age 9 years, accessibility 71%
Chorley - average age 5 years, accessibility 73%
Preston - average age 6 years, accessibility 88%
Preston Bus - average age 8 years, accessibility 71%
What a surprise (not) that Kendal as the oldest average age profile.
Lol hopefully that will change soon with all these Olys becoming spare!

20436 and 20910 been flying around this afternoon, likely been on 600 through the morning and early afternoon.
20902 also flying around. it was sat on the annexe showing "Sorry, In Service" on its displayprobably the best apology a bus has ever given!

Well if they have got 9 and they only need 6 why have kendal recently been putting a p reg Olympian on service 555/6
The following B10's have been transferred from Manchester to Scotland:
20916
20920
20922
20925
20926
20927
20929
20939
20946
Hopefully some of the other stuff will move soon as well!
Lets hope so, its not a good image for the visitors to the Lakes seeing S-reg'd open-top low floor Tridents on 599's and H-reg'd step entrance Olympians on short 555's when both routes are advertised as being low floor operated.
Problem is B10's will last and newer buses wont lol. But you're right, they should get more low floors up there especially if they struggle to keep low floor routes low floor. Will be interesting to see if they pull in a low floor decker from somewhere to act as a spare for the 300.
Whats happened to the solo in the background of this shot Jonesy? http://darryl-p-jones.fotopic.net/p65706302.html
Also they gona bother doing the seats in 22814 while its gone for repaint?
47016 has had the engine taken out for repair and 22814 is one of the lo-liners that was refurbed after being caught up in the carlisle floods,

Great couldn't remember what the seats were like
Versa on the 41! My word they must have been desperate!
Past KL depot today and spotted 47009, 14199,14252 and 16184 in the yard and another H reg Leyland round at the back gate with D6 on the blinds.
Stagecoach North West 47005 currently receiving some attention from a fitter.
