Where it doesnt belong. CMS Cumberland wasnt in kendal there was Ribble BBT and LCT not CMS its all wrong. It would work in carlisle or west Cumbrai not Kendal

I've been out and about, taking note of the condition of the local Stagecoach buses today!
And my conclusion is.... ruddy awful!
All 4 Marshalls are getting quite tatty,
20901/3 are in severe need of paint (i know they were urgently needed for duty, but they are bad!)
16651's nearside engine bay panel has a gap between itself and the bay door of about 2 inches!! (and it's paint is badly faded for a quite-recent paint job)
At least 2 Enviro 300s with Black replacement panels at the rear, with most Enviro 300's dented/scraped on more than one panel!!
both '08 solos needing paint.
I know Lillyhall are short of buses, but when they can repaint 20777 3 weeks before it going on disposals, why can't they repaint other buses which are going to be around for a very long time!!!!

757/759/761 are also pretty bad
They might be gone in not too long though

on another note, 42025 passed me a few times today, running 58's.... that is one bus that definitely has more rattles than mothercare!!!

It would be nice, (but very unlikely) to have a bus at each depot in all liveries that have been used in the specific area...
...But not necessarily an "old" bus or one from the specific liveries era...
...For Example, At Lillyhall, something "New" like two Enviro 300s, One in CMS post-dereg livery, and the other in Stripes. Personally i think it would look "Different" but would be a good way of reminiscing!

All the new solo's are out on the road,
Stored B10M 20452 left morecambe today for pastures new,
47157 has gone to carlisle,47159 has been withdrawn and will be joining it at the end of the week leaving 47160 to go.

I noticed a few days ago that the Travellers solos have had company stripes added and a rear add of sorts showing the company phone number. It basically looks like the rest of the Travellers fleet
Is there an arrival date for the new Versa's? How many are we getting?

Whoever Bluebird are I feel sorry for them To be fair the old solos wouldn't be as bad if they were tidied up a bit, a new coat of paint on the handlebars and a good clean would make them look much better.
Just had a ride on 47730 on the 81A, its very nice. Internally its pretty much just the same as the xx51 plate solos except its clean and the fold down seats actually return to the upright position and have some padding in them If they were to give the 51 plates a good clean and replace the seat covers you wouldn't be able to tell that much difference, except the new solos don't make the really annoying high pitched whine as they accelerate.

PX04DMU Was on it this morning. apparently a car parked illegaly next to the stop on double yellows pulled out of where it was parked straight into the side of the bus!! no substantial damage apparently, but there was a hell of a crunch!

YE52 FGX received them on Thursday morning, then went into service in the afternoon.
MX05 OSZ received them on Saturday morning, then went into service in the afternoon.
I don't know about CX55 DWK, the Dalton Depot one.
