21007 on X1's. This has also had its handlebars repainted (again) whilst away, makes it look much tidier though!
22721 on 42.
14208 parked in the bays at the bus station this evening.

Did someone mention these would be Goldline spec or was it a dream I had lol
Also, the grills appear to be the old style versions (ie offside single units rather that multiple nearside units) Any ideas why?

allocation of the day goes to 42090 on 79 to Dumfries!!! A MAN was pulled off due to loss of power, 42090 was the only tacho'd bus available.

Is the scrolling display leg. UK law/UK group policy/NW Policy or choice of depots?

Probably choice of depots, Morecambe have scrolling blinds on the front but kendal dont and i`m sure Manchester are slowly reverting to scrolling blinds.

There seems to be some confusion regarding the dest'n displays and scrolling...all LED display's will differ by location but in general this is how they should be.....
Scrolling is perfectly acceptable on the lower part of the blind, and should contain the places where the bus journey's through.
The main FINAL destination should be the top row and has to be static with the font not to thin, it also has to be with a capital letter first then lower case, with the route number at the correct font on the right as you look at the front of the bus.
Side dest'n blinds where fitted should have the Final bus journey destination and be static.
Rear blinds should have the route number visable

16664 was in the bodyshop this morning waiting to be repanelled for repaint and the seats removed for retrimming, meaning it will be the last of the batch of morecambe based R-regs to be done.
17023 has had the front LED blind installed and the destination glass painted with black surround(wasn't all that bad compared to the others) put back in, it is still waiting for the back LED blind.
It looks like their wont be a bus going into Morecambe and Heysham livery.:roll:

Stagecoach Solos have MAN engines rather then Mercedes/Cummins so have a different layout

All the recent arrivals with MAN engines have had the multiple nearside grills, Frenchwood's 47470-94 being examples. Maybe a different varient of engine or have they had cooling issues with the MAN units?

The 59 Plates in Exeter are the same arrangement so assumed it was common to MANs (all the other Solos (except the Cummins Western Greyhound ones) are Mercedes based AFAIK)
