18356 sound very rough/like a bag of bolts on the 0726 55 up to Keswick.
18354 and Dallam buses running late

No traffic in Lancaster, again (Whoopee!)

14195 on 81B coming back into Lancaster at ~1730 this evening.

18355 is back to sounding rather healthy.
18356 has just gone up on a 555.

Chaos this afternoon with the 7 to Marsh. The 1525 was cancelled due to late running, but the driver of the 155x left at about 1538 believing he was on the 1525 turn.

Classic Coaches had a Volvo B12BT/Vanhool Astrobel on the Blackpool-Newcastle run again today. They do look fine bits of kit.

22827 ran a 55 to the bus station at about 7.09 this evening.
22813, after doing a 55 early in the day, went on the 50 at about 3.20

Had a rare treat this evening with 14208 running the 7.11 2a to Heysham. 16657 ran the slot ahead of it!

I was on the 1455 7 to marsh, it didn`t leave the bus station till 1510 due to ticket machine problems.

Gotto agree with that Astrobel very fine machine indeed. May well be on it more and more as they are loosing a lot of coaches to TGM for airport transfer work, indeed GO53 CLA was on yesterday and has had a flashing orange light fitted on top

Got word today that 4 10`plate buses are coming in the next few weeks but unsure what,
22822 is back from repaint and 20903 has gone to lillyhall.

usual mixture of stuff lying around Carlisle depot.
16330 was sat outside workshops with a B10M i can't remember ID of.

was very kindly informed that 42531 was collected this morning, complete with its new registration, Hanover destination units and all seats. it is apparently heading off to Cyprus! (unless the person who collected it was just having a laugh).
was also informed that 52405 has been transferred to Preston.

one of the inspectors at Workington Bus Station actually used his brain today! and sent a late running Workington Footbridge 30 back out to Thornhill, instead of having that late running 30, and a 31 go to the footbridge at the same time.

as of 1st June 2010, SL Ltd Contract will no longer be operated by Stagecoach! the 4-year contract has been awarded to Reays Coaches! will be interesting to see how that affects the Lillyhall fleet!!!

just read the article again properly.
Reays are only running the on-site contract. using 8 vehicles. Stagecoach are still doing the ones around West Cumbria. it will still affect Stagecoach a bit though!

btw, Vario's are going anyways, regardless of SL Ltd Contract. 42534 would have gone ages ago if it wasn't for the floods, cos of the 3 KX51 Solo's coming (replacing 40028, 42534 and 42562). 42565 and 42566 been freed up with cancellation of 30A and reduction in PVR on 22.
