Just one thing for me to report today...
47006 on 56/7's today in Maryport...
And...
It was sat "Dead" with no driver at the wheel for at least 30 mins outside heron foods at 5PM-5:30PM... Smelled of Charred Plastic, and was hissing from the rear end... By the time i peered back out of the factory shop at 6pm it had gone!!

You should have 52627 back by now. 
It got towed (as seen in the picture) 2 1/2 hours after it broke down, to Walkergate Depot, where it spent until late this morning being given a bill of health. I saw it heading toward the A69 at about half 3.
Must have been a canny breakdown if Geoff (our fitter) couldnt fix it by the roadside!

You should have 52627 back by now.

When they used to work Lillyhall's X4/5 Workington-Penrith routes they were ALWAYS overheating!!

I forgot to mention this last night.
When i was pulling into the Bus Station abt 12.05 yesterday Captain choas (the duty inspector), was stroking one of the bollards next to Stand 12. Whilst parked next to it was 47017 with an hole in the near-side towards the rear end.
So i'm guessing that they had some sort of disagreement.

For anyone whos interested this is what's happening in Cambridge:
All but a few NC bodied Volvo Olympians have been withdrawn. The majority of MAN's have moved to outstations and some have also gone to Peterborough. All tridents have now gone to outstations, some have also moved to Fens and Peterborough.
These have in turn displaced Volvo Olympians and a few Darts, which have moved to Fens.
Some MANs are retained in Cambridge as spares and to work services Citi2/4
Citi1/3/7 are worked by the new E400s
I know its not SCNW but thought it may be of interest in general

A lovely jaunt round the lakes today! I saw plenty, but photographed NOTHING!! Took the camera with me, and left the battery on charge!!!
Down to Barrow First... Where i saw:
My first BA sighting was a Good one:
14267 on X6... nice and shiny! With an LED!! i didn't know any Leylands had them!! Engine sounded sweet too!
40327 and 40028 The Polished Turd! on X7
47020 on 1A
47132 and 47145 on 1
47131 on 4
47140 on 5
A Lovely lineup of Volvo /Leyland Ollys at the depot, presumably prepped and ready for schools work on monday!
Over Kendal Way:
20474 on 552 In Milnthorpe around 3:15... (where i was at that time lost... long story!)
18358, 18359 and 18366 on the 555 runs
4x OT's Present and correct (2X ALX400s and 2x Alexander RL's 16294 at Ambleside and 16393)
at Keswick
And Way out West:
42545 Oprey bus out and about near to the Dual carriageway between Keswick & Cockermouth
Havent spotted any other West Cumbria stuff, as I bypassed Workington & Whitehaven this morning on my way to Barrow!

Looks like Cambridge, could be interesting this year, if i'm lucky enough to get time off work to go to this years SHOWBUS.
William Wordsworth vinyled Trident spotted on Lillyhall Industrial Estate. it looked to be in the back of the VOSA Station, but not totally sure. it was that end of Lillyhall Estate anyways! opposite end to Stagecoach depot.

was only around this time last year when 47060 was last done!
47617 needs done! its had that patch of paint missing for a long time!!!
which was this time last year. painted at Deepdale before making the move north.

bus breakdown number 2 in Workington. this time, its 47007. it has been started up again, and is now on annexe, with fitter in Transit Connect van. i'm not sure what has went out to replace it on 51.
42566 is back on Harrington and 101. 33167 no where to be seen.

Noticed ME's little fiesta van at the bus station a last week which I think was transferred from Merseyside?
