14208 going through the bus gate at Skerton with '2 Not in service' City centre/Uni bound at about 16:15
14196 on the 16:50 55 to Carnforth

I saw 16877 heading toward town from the Uni at about 5.15. Assume it was on the 3 as it went through Greaves.

Are these being replaced by anything else???

One wonders if the one UID Leyland olly is to be the A33MRN replacement for PrestonBus......

can see it getting a bit tight if there isn't any replacements!
would leave 11 Solo's and 2 mini Darts for "minibus" fleet, covering the 5 needed for Workington services, 3 for Whitehaven services, 1 for Maryport and 2 for 58.

would be nice if freshly repainted 42090 and 42094 made it to West Cumbria! they'd be nice for 58!


as for the UID B10M, could it be 20753, of which has a sale agreement?

As I said before, I highly doubt A33MRN will be part of the sale of PB. It and the Metroriders were at the end of their useful service lives, by all accounts.

47006 and 47007 on Harrington. didn't see 3rd bus ... again.
47023 on 50.
47617 on 51.
47005, 20435, 20761 and 20768 been on annexe. 20761's LED was dead.
20759 on staff shuttle.
16651 on Whitehaven - Workington 300 as usual.
only saw 53337 on X5.

Dave.........thats no longer happening and it will be re-painted in normal livery, a decision on which bus will recieve ribble livery will be made later in the year and it wont be one of our new scania enviros neither , also its the first of all our oly's being repainted and some TLC being spent on them now we have the new 22 scanias running.


Will be waving bye bye to...33174,20130,20895,47008,and either 20793 or 20794.

I said at the time that that seemed an odd decision, but assumed the Northern Counties aspect of it swung it that way.. as for the 2079x's i hope its 4 over 3, that 3-speed gearbox in 4 doesn't half get on my nerves....

On the fleetcard it denotes 20793...........but hey that can be changed, plans are already afoot it will be 794 that dissapear's its no good on the motorway for the schools.

16634 will also be having a new LED blind on its return Chorley is now BRITECH free am sick of messing wi them daft boxes.

Yesterdays rare movement was 14208 on the 1220 49 Halton and return, 47016 expired on stand 14 with flat batteries and it is no two minutes job getting a Solo fired up, so stuck that on whilst I sorted the Solo out
