Just been reading Buses march for the stagecoach bit we getting 2 slimline solos for 77/77A witch have modified suspension, Rear axals, Rear bumpers. Wounder where they are?????????

21007 was on the X1 (which I enjoyed twice

Only other thing I can think of today is 20463 on the 1345 42 to Blackpool. Left late due to chewing gum on the back seat from what I overheard from where I was sat

Yeah I saw 20463 coming out of Lancaster about 2.10.
16877 was sat idle in the underpass this afternoon while the ticket conductor was doing his stuff.

And these are the mystery vehicles you have all been talking about over the past few weeks. Fleet numbers 47721/2 and due from Optare by 26th March
been in Kendal and Barrow today.
16664 on 755.
20127, 33170, 47055, 47056 and 47057 on Kendal town services.
20128 on 552.
47009, 47058, 20219, 20456, 18366, Lakeland Pathfinder, another Trident, 20712, and another B10M in the depot, along with usual mixture of Leyland Olys.
16331, 16339, 18279 and 18280 on X35.
20107 flying around Barrow with an LED!
20301 replaced 20478 on 6X.
16334, 18138, 18139 and 18143 on 6 / 6A. 20478 appeared on it later.
20760 flying around as well.
16332 was around with "Private Charter" on LED.
loads of Solo's flying around. a lot of them seem like they need quite a bit of time getting bodywork sorted! never mind mechanically! although, they do sound worse than LL's KX51's.....
saw 5 709D's flying around as well.
wandered down to BA depot, and in there, was a load of Leylands, including 14266 with a hanover flip dot! 18278, a 68 branded 16326.
a refurbed B10M was shoved down the back corner, along with a blue Solo.
rather a lot of the LED displays on Barrow's Solo's are well and truly f*cked! one of them was only showing the right hand side of the display! lots of dead LED lights, and large sections of displays flickering on and off!
general condition of the Solo's was rather shocking for their age!

After visiting Barrow.... never again will I complain about KL maintenance!!!!20779 was on the 106 in Kendal. The driver was hitting the dash panel to get the doors to work :roll:

i'm sure it was this one that i saw a picture of a while ago, serving time with Lillyhall, on the old Sellafield 85! back then, it had bright tech displays, and bench seating.

14398 (B268LPH) is currently in Carlisle, parked outside Citadel Station. It is now owned by SA Dining and is here in connection with the filming at Citadel. It has Huntingdon & District on the side, is in overall yellow and still carries it's Stagecoach fleetnumber and legal lettering proclaiming it to be owned by Stagecoach in the Fens, Stockport.

52408 was in bus station on layover from 685 when i was around! (12:10 - 12:30ish).
20944 arrived to Carlisle 10 mins after timetabled departure on 300.
20994 on staff shuttle.
34048 flying around (possibly Brampton 685).
42672 on 95.

Now the Metroriders have been scrapped, wonder what will replace them when PB is sold again, maybe some of the 709d's from around the Stagecoach network. And I wonder what they will draft in to replace A33MRN - if it is sold before May.
Wonder if Stagecoach will keep any of the Scanias as well, especially as they paid off the finance on these vehicles soon after the take over. Would be a real kick in the teeth if they had to be sold / handed back as well, or the alternative would be to push the sale price up, but then nobody would probably want to buy the company - not that many or even any parties have declared a public interest to date
Does anyone know when the Lynxes are going to come back into service at Preston, and what route they are going to be rostered onto?

I reckon 14543 (A33MRN) will go for scrap unless whoever buys it has the money for a new gearbox and suspension.

Would be a real shame for it to go to scrap! Hopefully they will find someone soon! Interesting thought about SC keeping some of the newer PB vehicles... not sure what will happen there.

18325 failed at Bowerham, sat at the town bound stop with its rear bonnet open. Driver was on the phone smoking and looking at the engine with a gormless look on his face lol.

I really hope that 14543 gets preserved, it's a rather interesting piece of history.
I don't think the Lynxs will return to service - I reckon they're just at Deepdale for when it's sold.
As to the Scanias - Stagecoach might keep them, but they're not exactly standard which might be an issue.

This Afternoon (During my "short" stroll from the car, which was parked next to the new temporary road bridge site, over the barker crossing, to the town centre )
20764 on Rail Feeder 100 (Driver looked a little familiar )
34616, 35247 and an UID R9--XVM (possibly 20919) on Maryport-Barepot 30s
47617 was the other bus on 46/101 brett... With an inop LED... :roll:

Couldn't help but laugh earlier too...
Whichever R9--XVM B10M was on 30s, when slowing down/speeding up, it sounded like some sort of comedy "ghost" sound effect! like a "wooooo" noise... Don't know what was going on there!!! :roll:

92908 was up and down between the bridge and bus station for driver changes at various points today too

I also noted the driver of 47617 Hitting the Hanover control unit with the palm of his hand... tut tut!
The result was the display coming back on...
...and going straight back off again! :roll:
