I saw the broken glass in Road & on the pavement, and 16667 with its upper deck front windows broken, when i went pass at about 08.55.

Then when i got round the corner into George Street, stright into a bus jam, caused once again by the builders blocking Spring Garden Street off yet again.:-x There was a MAN stuck on the corner of Penny Street & Marton Street, due to parked cars.

I'm gald that i'm on Holiday, for the next 8-days!:roll:

He must have mounted the kerb to catch that glass. Its quite a long way back from the road. Maybe trying to get round something.

Solo YE52 FGX, brokedown yesterday morning (Thursday) and was replaced by Merc Coach YN06 JFJ until the Solo was fixed.

I think I lost count of the times I drove LDP55 on the 345s for General, this is starting to get creepy with buses I drove 10yrs ago finding homes here LDP51 was rubbish though, would barely go over 15mph and for some reason its speedo was calibrated in kph



Nothing of any real note today, although 21007 was on the 7.

It could end up as immortal as 15731 did which proved very difficult to withdraw and keep withdrawn! I think it lasted nearly 3 years after being 'withdrawn' in 2003

We got rid of 15731 along with 10056 when they was withdrawn in 2004 and got them back after a fire at bedford depot when they sent down 16243,16244 and 16245(L24? SDY).

nothing odd really. 33173 has been like that all of last summer season, since it had its bike rack fitted.

I've heard 16184/5 will go to Carlisle to replace the J---HFR batch of Olympians. Knowing Stagecoach, that'll probably change it'd be nice to have them in Lancaster to replace 14195/6 or 14208.

14196 was supposed to be withdrawn but with 16648 having a cracked chassis they had no choice to scrap it and keep 14196 in service fitted with an hanover blind.

I agree now we have one may as well have two more. The only issue would be capacity I suppose.

21007 heading out of the underpass just now. Didn't catch the service number.

Had a fool of a bus driver this morning who decided rather then pull into the stop at Bowerham he would just stop in the middle of the road causing a bi jam behind him. Not sure what was going on there.
