Indeed that sounds possible. Of course if they don't keep them in Preston they could head up here. We already have a load of them in Lancaster and they could displace B10's. I doubt it very much but its an idea.

It seems the 2/2a is completely tridents today. i travelled all the way from Heysham to the Uni and only saw Tridents. Not an Oly in sight.

20765 on X5! don't think its been all Profile's this week! was 2 B10M's on it on wednesday!
34079, 47061 and a Marshall flying around. 47061 was on 101 when i saw it.
47059 on 50.

it'd be nice if the MAN's came to LL, but we'll just have to see! would be nice to have a few extra low floors for 30 and 31!
with the current situation in Preston though, i'd guess they'd probably stay there. improve the Stagecoach services down there when Preston Bus has gone from Stagecoach. it would take them nearer to a fully accessible fleet! (they'd most likely replace the 2 remaining B10M's, so the only step entrances would be the few Volvo Olys and the coaches!)

the remaining Leyland Lynx at LL will be moving back down to Preston Bus soon. could be today, could be next week! think its going today though. they're going to run the 16's apparently.

Will probs stay in Preston and yes they are very close to been completely low floor which is good!

16877 passed Skerton triangle Lancaster bound just now (1603)-didn't catch service number as only saw the back end of it!

Well AFAIK, 16877 wasn't at the bus station at 1620, and 14204 was on the 1610 55A for the 2nd week running....

The CATribuneral have rejected the CC's appeal to have the PB appeal rejected.
However, as Stagecoach will still be selling the business, it's purely an academic point, although reading between the lines it does have an effect on the terms of the sale.

16877 came into the bus station this morning on a 49, then went out on the 46X.

The driver on 18324 at about 5pm, when he was turning out of Spring Garden Street into King Street, tried to mount the concrete bollards which are, or was on the corner. Moving one of them about 5ft along King Street.

In all fairness to the driver, the builders have been moving the bollards further, and further out into the road, making it trighter, and trighter for the buses to get pass and to get around the corner into King Street.

Something pretty major looked to have happened by the pedestrian bridge over the lune. Emergency services in attendance, boats on the river, spotlights stuck all over the bridge (facing into the river). It was still open as I walked across it to get home. St Georges Quay/Damside St had been closed to traffic so could be affecting X1's if it isn't open in the morning.

20435, 20753, 35247 and 35249 on Maryport - Barepot 30.

20759, 20761, 20765, 42565 and 47007 used as staff shuttles.

Driver's are still having problems with displays on 30's. saw a few E300's showing "Barepot 30" when they should be "Workington Footbridge 30" when coming in from Thornhill. buses on north of river on 30 have been showing "Workington Footbridge 30" when it should be Barepot 30 (Barepot has scrolling "Footbridge Crossing for Workington")

you'd think with the amount of gearbox problems that we've had in West Cumbria, they'd get us some buses that wouldn't break down every few weeks!!!

No surprise that the SWB Marshalls have gear box problems, they're fitted with the bang-o-matic!
Psychic? The fact is that we just need some better buses, not that this will ever happen :idea:
Rear ends of both Volys on the 300's today where caked in several inches of grime! Unfortunately, this doesn't kill the awful noises they make! Haha

Just got home after a long day on P.H. to Keswick RUFC, went into Booths for some Lunch just after 1pm. I was fortunate enough to get a table next to the window, from where i spotted K768 DAO on X5 to Penrith (The bus that is, not the forum member).

Other buses seen today in Keswick, were 16330 on 78's, 18354, 18357, 18358, & 18355 on 555's, 42672 on 73/73A's, 52408 on 554's & 86's, 53337, 53339, & 53338 on X5's.
