Yep, it's an ongoing program. Some were repainted on transfer, but most weren't.

I believe the majority have now been done.

I hope our services are OK tomorrow as I hope to use them quite a lot...

20546 on a 55 bound for Carnforth around 15:45, later seen returning Dead to the bus station.

Ive not ventured out far since my slid on ice into a hedge at low speed this morning!

Lancaster's services looked OK.
Hill was closed past LRGS after a 6-car bumper bender. AFAIK School services not affected.

The 18 [to Lancaster Farms] was though.

LRGS closed at 1045, LGGS at 1130.

Services 8A & 8C were serious effected today, due to East Road being closed by the Police, which was being used as a diversionary route. Due to Barmoral Road being slippery.

The 8C ended up operating via Bowerham Road, Barton Road and Greaves Road. As Barmoral Road, Cork Road, Winchester Avenue, and Hala Hill were all to slippery, and East Road, and Ashford Road were all closed by the Police, due to accidents.

The bus on the 8A, was involed in an accident with an Ambulance at the traffic lights at the end of Parliament Street Bus Lane.

A majority of passengers are w*****rs when it comes to stuff like that. They complain when a bus sits at a stop for 4 mins and fail to realise that's its waiting for time. If it didn't it would be early and then when it passes a stop 4 minutes early they complain they missed it. You can't win either way. I do it as well because its just a lack of understanding and can be very frustrating I'm sure for staff.

I got the 15.20 555 and it was 10 mins early into the bus station

Turns out the accident on the prom was caused by a Polish chap taking the roundabout to fast and smashing into the wall by the Midland Hotel. He was passing in and out of conciousness and had chest pains. It took the ambulance 45 mins to get to him as there wasn't one available.

The Guy Who Caused The Accident Was A Czech Republician, He Used To Have Heart Problems When He Was A Child, However It Stopped, and the DVLA issued him with a license. On The Round About His Heart Played Up And Made Him Unconcious, Making Him Crash Into The Wall, They Had To Cut The Car To Get Him Out As The Airbags Had Deployed etc, Took The Ambulance Over 30 Mins To Arrive

Has anyone seen any of the S Reg Tridents in the last couple of days? All the 40/41's I have seen were being run using B10M's and a couple of B10B's. Also Volvo Oly's on the 42. Think I only saw 1 Trident in Garstang today and that was on the 40, but didnt get its number as it was covered in snow

17017/18 and 17023 are off road and the rest should be service depending on the weather one stays at garstang overnight.

One of the remaining roller blinds ones, was on the 41's this morning (can't remember which one).

I saw one on the 2a last night.

17020 was on the 2 / 2A's yesterday daytime.

its actually snowing in Workington for once! not sure what the services are like though!

i was going to be in Carlisle today to get some work done at uni, but i got a text saying the snow was pretty bad, so i havn't went through. with the snow being bad, i'd guess quite a few services could be affected!

Stagecoach website is having a few problems loading, so i can't see on there for service updates at minute to see what is actually running.

i managed to get the homepage on, but can't get any further.
on the service updates section on the homepage, there is now a link to timetables of temporary services in West Cumbria, but that isn't loading either (obviously).

FINALLY got on Stagecoach site!

the only thing on there for today is:
The X61 and 125 are operating this morning, but the X2 is unable to operate from Preston to Liverpool and can only go as far as Formby.

Latest update:

"Improved conditions for our services in North West today. Last evening we had to suspend all services at PRESTON and CHORLEY after 6pm but today all buses are running with delays and some route diversions and omissions. We are reaching Bolton and Manchester (the latter with severe delays). The X2 is still unable to get to Liverpool, but it can now get as far as Bootle, Strand."

Good stuff. Just helped the girlfriend get her car off the housing estate and spotted the 2/2a and 4 services running in Heysham so all seems OK

16648 come in to depot this morning from repaint with `in Lancaster' legals on the sides unsure when it is going to be in service and 18325 went up to carlisle for repaint after picking a fight with training bus 52030.

I suppose 16648 will go into service at the same time as 16877. Does it ( 16648 ) have an LED?

Not at the moment 16648 still has the front normal hanover blind with the side and rear panelled over, i think it might get one though.
17017 still has roller blinds it was out on the road today as well as 17018.

I would imagine they will fit one so it fits with the others. Saying that 16666 still has it old one lol.

Once again Captain Chaos, was the bus station inspector today. Twice i was unable to get on a stand, also my relief driver also experienced problems in getting a stand.

I'm sure our services are running but I don't want to make the effort to take half an hour to get off the housing estate to find out the buses aren't running lol.

The only problems, which i am aware of is diversions effecting services 8A / 8C, due to icy roads, and service 10 is currently suspended, again due to icy roads.

Stagecoach still being quite useless.
there is a list of the temporary services at Lillyhall on the website, but when you click the link to see the timetables, it just takes you back to the homepage. the temporary route timetables aren't on the standard timetable search feature.

I suspect that is a strategic move - I recall seeing somewhere that Stagecoach don't feel it is worth operating the 564.

556 running normally this morning, a bit slidey in places but mostly OK.
