I believe the plan is for 16647 to go to Kendal and replace 14199 (more likely IMHO 14248)
16874 is suppose to go back to Carlisle to replace 13296.

It's for Entwistle Green.

The traffic was extremely bad this afternoon in Lancaster, it took me on one trip on the 8A, 32-mins from the Bus Station to Ripley School!!!, thus leaving me only 3-mins to go via Ashford Road, Hala, Bowerham, and Moorlands to get back to the Bus Station.

The 2/2A's were once again running around in threes and fours. I passed three buses heading for the Uni in Newmarket Avenue, and a fourth at Moorside School.

Traffic lights at Sainsbury's, rang council about them just before four and when I magaged to get away after six still no one had turned up to look at them

Probably to busy worrying about the fact that they have no grit hahaha tomorrow should be fun...

Well most of the schools in the local area are closed apart the Grammar Schools and a few others. Dallam is still open (as always) but QES has closed. I'm guessing bus services in Cumbria will be hard hit and some of our rural routes will suffer as well.

as always, snow in Workington is barely existant. there is a very very very thin layer on the ground outside my house.

latest service update from Stagecoach website:

Central and South Lancashire, with ALL services at CHORLEY are currently suspended. There are no services south of Preston towards Greater Manchester and very limited services towards Merseyside.

KENDAL, Central Cumbria and the Lake District are also badly affected, with buses running, but not on full routes.

Elsewhere, services are operating with many delays, and some local sections of route in Lancaster, West Cumbria and Carlisle, remain inaccessible.

Kingsway in Heysham has been closed after 4 accidents this morning and I'm guessing Hala hill has been shut off as well. Also the hill leading up to Williamson's Park and the Grammar School has apparently been closed. Not sure if this effects the Grammar School Services.

We have had to suspend all services from Chorley today & tonight due to extreme snow, sum 16inches have fallen on most of the routes.

GMPTE has also suspended all services in Bolton due to snow.

A Decision regarding Chorley services will be taken tomorrow morning once we can assess the road conditions, as snow is continuing to fall over Lancashire & Greater Manchester.

Lancaster's services looked OK.
Hill was closed past LRGS after a 6-car bumper bender. AFAIK School services not affected.

The 18 [to Lancaster Farms] was though.

LRGS closed at 1045, LGGS at 1130.

The only service that was suspended as far as i know was the no 10 seen the sign near the takeaway in the bus station. Some services sticking to the main roads and roads seem quiet as the schools were shut due to the weather.

Cool Dallam sent pupils home at 1PM either to insure they got home or because staff couldn't get in from rural homes. It seems that Dallam and the Grammar Schools held out till the end lol.

18366 belongs to Kendal IIRC, so it'll be going for repaint, seats fixing and generally some TLC.
