33169 on the 101 this morning, it then ran dead to LL with the display still showing Footbridge Shuttle 101. 34616 took over, front/rear and side displays all buggered :roll: This was then replaced by 47007.

20129 on the Maryport 30's.
47616 on the 51.
20765 on the Whitehaven - Workington 300's.
40028 on the annex earlier on.

7 Vale - Lancaster - Marsh

From 4th January 2010, we will revise the timetable, amending all Monday to Friday morning peak journeys to operate across the City Centre from Vale to Marsh.

* The 0642 departure from Vale will be withdrawn with an alternative journey at 0713.
*

On Saturdays the 0745 circular journey from Lancaster to Marsh will be withdrawn with an alternative journey at 0825.

Thats quite an ineteresting development especially as most commuters like to go up to George Street anyway, I wonder why they arent doing it to the evening peaks too. I presume the short working 7 between Vale and the City centre will begin after 09:00 from that day too

They were great on long distance bombing down the M6 on the X41. Id have taken a Javelin everytime over a B10M!

Great vehicles to drive. We had them at Garstang for over 2 years when we operated the 85 service from Blackpool to Knott End. They came up from Stagecoach South specifically for that service. When we came back from Knott End to Garstang, half the seat cushions were usually on the floor by the time we got back [bumpy road is an understatement!!]

20858 will be a while, it'll need repainting and new legals (it still has legals for SC Merseyside) and I'd imagine if it hasn't already been retrimmed, it'll have that done as well.

Doesn't need a repaint from what I've seen, there's alot worse knocking about, it won't take long to retrim, they usually do a bus within a week, and the legals and other transfer removals is a 2 minute job. So if it is going to be working out of LL I don't think it'll be laying idle for very long.

Yup, should be a quick turnaround. Look forward to seeing it in service, hopefully!

This evening:

17022/24 and a number of MANS on the 2/2a
22827 came off the 2 and onto the 42.
20795 still knocking about on the 3/4

Passed by the depot and spotted 14204 and a B10B going through the wash.
All the B10's still lined up along the back fence obviously as well as some deckers that I couldn't make out. Info bus tucked away by the side of the bus wash.

I wonder if it's because of its registration -the N reg B10Ms don't seem to be favourable anywhere.....

don't think it being N reg has anything to do with it really, especially as 2 M reg's were put into service at Lillyhall.
20319 is technically Seasonal Reserve, but not sure why! would have made sense to put it into service on temporary services so the K reg's can go back to disposal! theres still the other 2 Jonck's to be replaced on the temporary services so that they can be prepared for service at Carlisle and Preston.

21007 arrived at Morecambe form Lillyhall.

555 isn't really significant, just the route I prefer to get home (556 is my normal route)

I'd ride on a B10B over a B10M any day obviously don't know how they are t drive but they are quite quick off the line

18375 on 2 heading to Uni, had a frozen air line to pax door, so would operate MAN sat next door to it on a 4 with no one on so I nicked that for the 2 and got 20795 sent up from depot, to replace it. Today was the first Saturday for a while I've not had an MAN on any shuttles, like usual, so could get it off.

21005 operated the 1240 89 as far as Cockerham 47489 thre its belts

there is a new 30 timetable at Calva Bridge Roundabout bus stop.
buses running every 15 minutes during the day, think they reduced to every 30 minutes for evening services, but can't remember now. i have also forgotten the time of the last run, but it was lateish! (i remember seeing 2130 from footbridge on it, think there was a few runs after it, but don't count me on that!)
an hourly Sunday Service for Barkers Footbridge - Maryport will also be in place.

From tomorrow (Jan 4th) there will be 3 buses taking turns on the footbridge shuttle, the 46's and 46A will do a 101 in between runs (instead of a 47)
Also, 16734 and 16647 are back at LL.

Think you mean 16447... easy mistake! Seems like a good idea to run the 101 like that, although... it's regular driving won't be too suited.... quote; "Been on this all day, and it's doing my head in!". Be interesting to see what CE run the 300's with... they might even use the buses that LL sent them :roll:

Has 16647 actually seen much service? Still had Ribble legals last time I saw it on the annex!
