Preston Citi branded 47486 on 89's today, long with 47001.
It's believed that it was 47002, which ended-up in a ditch on Christmas eve. (Can someone please confirm)

I wrote a message on the back of it when it was towed into morecambe depot last week saying `need 50p for the bus wash'

84 Branded solo on the 89 just now. Couldn't see the number.

Had 25223 on the 6a today and very nice it was to :) There was an accident of some kind at the roundabout next to the Midland hotel on the prom this afternoon so services running down the prom were diverted down by Morecambe bus station then onto Euston Road and I assume rejoining the Prom by Gala Bingo.

When we passed through Whitelund I managed to get a glimpse of all the B10's lined up on the back fence at the depot and what I thought was a shiny 16877 down the far end as well. Not sure tho...

Also noted today that a Saturday service was in place all day and that a notice had been put up warning passengers of delays on the 555 due to bad traffic in Kendal.

I put that up yesterday, someone being lazy and not removing it last night or today, when I rang Juie regarding the whereabouts of the 1320 she told me was Kendal was gridlocked, it arrived at 1350ish the 1420 departed nearly right time at about 1425 then the 1520 departed 1545ish. didn't see the 1620 as I went home for a spot of tea before finishing a late turn.
Despite plastering the place with notices, putting teh info in the buses for three weeks and the fact we have had a Saturday service between Christmas and New Year since time in memorial I still had clowns moaning at me yesterday, If you know an Aussie chap from Bentham, tell him he is a ***** because he didn't seem to take it in when I used a certain phrase at him because he wasnt going to get a 1615 back home.

A majority of passengers are w*****rs when it comes to stuff like that. They complain when a bus sits at a stop for 4 mins and fail to realise that's its waiting for time. If it didn't it would be early and then when it passes a stop 4 minutes early they complain they missed it. You can't win either way. I do it as well because its just a lack of understanding and can be very frustrating I'm sure for staff.

I got the 15.20 555 and it was 10 mins early into the bus station :)

Turns out the accident on the prom was caused by a Polish chap taking the roundabout to fast and smashing into the wall by the Midland Hotel. He was passing in and out of conciousness and had chest pains. It took the ambulance 45 mins to get to him as there wasn't one available.

You forgetting that the passengers can't read, but they know how to moan.

I had passengers complaining about buses not running!!!, When i checked the timetables on the Bus Station, there normally been school days only departures that they have complained about.

So you know the passengers on Ryelands then Dallamlad, on Tuesday due to one of the Solos developing a fault over Christmas, i had a Midi-Coach on the 8C's they complained because it was not low floor. Also yesterday a chap complain about a bus running on time.

I get that sometimes.
But the commonest problem in the summer was a phantom bus on the 555 timetable. Passengers heading south complained about an afternoon bus marked as Mon-Fri that never turned up (because it was a printing error and should have said NSch, i reckon).

Hey, what sort of MAN buses are running the 30 and 31 to Workington railway stn?
Always seem to run well, but some drivers say they break down a lot.

MAN 18.240, with Enviro 300 body.
i'm personally not a fan of them at all, i prefer the ADL Dart Pointer II's that are often on it (PX56 CWM/N/O/P). the darts ride much better, pick up speed better, and are more comfortable at the higher speeds when sitting near the back. the E300's sound like they'll blow up at the higher speeds (in my opinion).

Stored B10ms alexander PS 20858 (P858GND) and N/C paladin 20894 (P894 MNE) are on there way to lillyhall they left morecambe at 12:00 and ex barrow leyland olympian 14193(H193WFR) appeared on the back fence over the christmas period.

47616 was on 50. it was later replaced by 47007.
47006 on 51.
33167 and 34079 on Harrington.
35246 on 31.
20129 and 20765 on Whitehaven - Workington 300.
33169 on 101 as usual.
20761 on Tesco Free Bus.
20768 and 42565 on Staff Shuttle.
20777 on SL Ltd.
40028, 42534 and 42577 were flying around as well.


on the topic of the B10M's, if they are entering service (which they should be really), then it would be sending K reg's back to disposal (especially if Wigley's are wanting to collect them), or send 52628 and 52629 back to reserve so they can be repainted for further service (20918 and 20994 replaced 52626 and 52627 on temporary services so they could go off to Carlisle).

not my picture, but here is one of Manchester's Tridents in the new Magic Bus livery, in service. i'm guessing the Lolyne's and President's recently repainted into old MB livery won't be repainted into the new one just yet!

Very nice like the new livery. That one should have Magic Bus written on the front, looks odd having no text between the headlights lol.

Both 47001 & 47002 were on 89's today. 47001 looking dirty, but no signs of Jonesy3001 little message on it!!!:lol:

With it being New Years day tomorrow, i was hoping for a day off. But, No i got to work.<(
