47060 on annexe.
a solo with LED at the 30 stand for buses towards Whitehaven.
47023 at back of bus station with "Staff Shuttle" on display.

thanks for the suggestions on the Esker Touring so far. i've seen a few of them around with OUI registrations, and even have a picture of Alan Stephenson & Son's one, but i'm pretty sure i recognise that particular registration, but can't think where! never mind!

not Stagecoach, but this is really doing my head in and wondering if anyone on here could help.
i've been browsing through coach sales websites, and came across an Esker Touring, with registration OUI 9508. i recognise the registration, and can remember seeing it on an Esker Touring, but i can't recall where i saw it, or with which operator. any ideas?
here is the listing.

Erm, Alba Travel ? (Penrith...)

Cockermouth Main Street likely to remain CLOSED for a further 3 months!

It's still a right mess  Also, makes it a much longer journey for those traveling to Cockermouth School ! Is it making much difference to the journey times on the X services ?
--- old post above --- --- new post below ---
And another thing.... the legendary 40028 was on town services today!

Not really, the only delay on the X5's is the traffic queues on the A66 towards Papcastle, but that's only in the afternoons. There's still no word on Ouse bridge yet so the X4's still aren't running, which means the X5's are still running hourly.
40028 should have gone to Barrow by now but its staying on due to the extra buses needed at the moment.

BTW, almost 1000 hits today alone on the link below.:D

Yeah, its a nightmare getting to and from 6 Form at the moment. Usually pretty big queues between Papcastle Bridge and the Sheep and Wool roundabout <( My bus driver has been taking us into Cockers... and the through Parklands... coming out opposite the Lakes Home Centre. Interesting route in a 12metre Placky Panther!

Well, you do get some almost unique shots K768 DAO.
Can I just make a suggestion? Have a gallery for vehicles that were stored at Lillyhall, but have now been scrapped/sold on.

If you want help with which vehicles have gone, we're always here :P

Yep, it's still on the back fence at Morecambe, awaiting the outcome of the Competition Appeal.

In other news, the A6070 between Burton and Holme is closed for resurfacing. All 555/6s are using the A6 straight from Milnthorpe, with (I think) a shuttle service operating with an 04 reg Solo.
If it isn't a shuttle service, I'd like to know what a Solo (definitely one of Kendals) was doing going through Carnforth with 555 on the blinds...

I think the biggest difference is on the 3/4 between Morecambe and Lancaster.

When is 16877 back?

Also was 16640 ever stationed at Morecambe?

Its the revamped magic bus livery with two shades of blue and the yellow swoops where the orange normally goes but i dont like the front yellow stripe as it looks out of place.

De ja vu, I'm sure I've read that somewhere else.. :| either that or people with the surname Jones are in agreement that the front swoop is bobbins

That's a shame, I've always found the B10Bs to be good buses. Hopefully they'll find work elsewhere (Barrow or Lillyhall) as they are too good to waste....

The 3 and 4 is going back to its old frequency of 30mins each (15mins) hopefully this will ease the substitution of the MANs on the route the reduction in PVR to 70 takes it back to more or less what it was 5 years ago (although the makeup of the fleet is different now) and the service coped well enough then with out of the ordinary workings rare and routes ran with their booked types 95% of the time.

Stagecoach have published the conditions of carriage on the website, this I presume is also available in paper form too.
http://www.stagecoachbus.com/uploads/ConditionsofCarriage2009.pdf

Christmas and New year service alterations for last buses 24/31 December etc are also available. A limited boxing day service is being provided on Boxing day on service 2A.
