He's a legend lol

Anyway back to Stagecoach lol I had 22807 on the 4 from the Uni before and it still has a lot of power in it! The driver got it up to a high speed on the straight heading toward town :)

20540 vicing a low floor MAN on the 3.
20735 still out on the X1.

20540 was swapped for 22817 at 1524 Morecambe bound

What time did you get 20735 on the X1 as it was ceratinly on 2s this afternoon 1508 to Towers, and I've not swapped anything off an X1 today.

On rarity ceratinly nowadays the 0830 555 was 20459, probably only worked as far as Kendal though

20735 was on an X1 this morning IIRC, I can't remember whether I saw it on my way to uni or when I got there, but it would have been somewhere between 0940-1010. Pretty sure it was 20735 although of course I could be wrong!

Aye, I was on this one Gez!
Driver hinted that all the Tridents were either
1. Off the road for fixing
2. Covering Dallam runs (CCTV is needed so he said)
3. Allocated to the other 2 555 diagrams that start at a similar time.

Pity really, could ahve used the capacity of a Trident today. It was amazing to see how many people mistook it for a 55 - evidently a brite tech fitted B10M is close enough

Course, if 20127/8 were to be on tomorrow, I wouldn't complain.....

Just read on another forum that 18139/150/158 have moved from Chorley to Preston.

Add 18154 which i saw there yesterday.. and 18141/55 amoungst those still in Chorley thus far..

Things have been moving along pretty swiftly so far, as Scania buses have been getting stickered up and sent out, allowing Tridents to go, we still have about 3 or 4 Tridents listed as ours but 'away' due to repairs and repaints, such as 18146..

Not sure why 18139 is being used at Preston at the moment, seeing as its due for Barrow, but maybe its only a stop gap until all Tridents have been sent to Preston, upon which, the seven noted ones will be sent further north..

also the three noted where ones to receive full repaints, 18139 being an early one, and if your wondering why 18139 seems to have an odd rear nearside corner.... that would be my fault ... sorry!

47024 on 50, making farting noises like NBM's Optare Solo (2 years older).
34616 on 51 again.
33167, 33169 and 47062 on Harrington & Seaton. 33167 still sounds extremely bad and doesnt sound like the other Marshall Darts, and 47062 still sounding very dodgey.
20753 and 20436 used as staff shuttles. 20436 came from LL with 2 drivers on. 20753 was taken out to Maryport by a minibus driver, and came back to bus station with a different minibus driver on, so guessing they were swapping from 56 / 57 / 57A / 58.
20763 on Northside 48.
20765, 20952 and 35246 on 31.
22611 and 22597 were around sounding pretty dodgey.
20919 on short 300.
53339 on X4.
20761 on X5.
40028 was on annexe earlier.
LL's Info To Go bus was on the annexe when i was on my way home.

And form the outpost in Maryport!...

40028 on Cockermouth 58 (driven by a very "Happy Looking" RichieB!)
47023 on Maryport Circular 56/57 sounding a hell of a lot better than 47062 which was on yesterday, and is 2 & 1/2 years younger!!

Had 16667 on the 2 to the bus station. The 18361 on to Heysham.

21003,20894,25223, 22721,22814,47017 16665,18362 and 18381 dead at the bus station.

Also thought I saw 20735 on the 2a heading for Lancaster past Christie Park at about 7ish.

Also spotted PB liveried 47767 on the 6.40 89.

Oh very rare indeed! Bad news about 18374 must have been some bird!

I noticed today that posters have gone up informing customers of the changes been made to the 755 timetable from 14th December.

Bird strikes aren't as rare as you think on the 555 - I've experienced 2 in my time. First was when a pidgeon flew out of a tree and got clobbered by the top cantail at the front of 16340. It cartwheeled upwards with feathers flying everywhere, before landing on the roof about 3/4 of the way back and sliding off.

Second was where a phesant flew into the side of the bus...made quite a bang!

I've also see the after-effects of a window shatterig bird stirke on 16336.

In the 20+ years that i have worked in the bus industry. i have only ever suffered the one bird strike! That was about 17 years ago, when I was on a 286 (as it was in them days, now the 81B) from Kirkby Lonsdale, as i appoached Burrow this phesant ran out from the hedge on the near-side, i heard this thud and in the mirror i could see a cloud of feathers flying everywhere.

Just out of interest is 47767 now based in Lancaster/Morecambe or is it on loan?

I claimed 2 pigeons with 14174s top deck windscreens and a pheasent on the M6 near Penrith with 52027 while on rail replacements.....they make quite a thud when hitting the lower front panels. This is thie first one Ive heard of that has made through the glass though.

47767 is based in Preston as the 89 is run from there.

20735 on the normal 2a this morning

Apparently a truck turned over this morning on the motorway and they had to close 2 lanes. As a result traffic through town was quite bad.

Also my sister couldn't get to school this morning as there was flooding near Kirkby Lonsdale and the bus service were only going as far as Hornby.

That would explain why traffic was so bad going north through Carnforth.

UID Trident heading "Not In Service" up the A6, possibly 18374 returning to base after its new window?

20965 on 75.
42533 flying around.
42670 on 101.
20979 on 66.
20977 on 97.
one of the T reg mini darts went towards the depot from Sands Centre, driven by a fitter, with Morton Park 62 on display.
does anyone know if these have the Bright Tech LED's fitted rather than the Hanover ones, cos it was showing it differently to the Hanover LED's on the Citi Darts.

16447 on 300.
47061 on 50.
i'll be going to town soon so will get to see the rest of the Workington services, and some other stuff.

Fitters van and fitter at the underpass just now. The fitter was having a chat with the conductor when I went past. Not sure whether he was waiting for a bus to come in to be seen to or if had sorted a problem and was just having a chin wag.

No info bus again today but 22813 was sitting idle at the West side of the underpass.

22813 has just left the underpass. I assume to go on schools. 20894 on either the 3 or 4.

17021 on Sainsbury's bus then going onto do Ripley School services. (501 or 502)
